Very good analogy. Do you want me to PM you all my other bets?

On topic: i think Pacers win by blowout and cover even the 8 point teasers!

I mean, the Raptors did tank in Pascal's later years and all that losing can definitely feel like dark times to the players.

I'm not mad at Pascal. He should be calling us out. We've been a dumpster fire for like 3 seasons.

Trying to compare curry and Hailburton is comedy. Curry can perform on any system because what he does is elite its levels. Hailburton was team USA’s biggest cheerleader for a reason

You sound really really really Salty.

Anyone’s saw LFGK and RHODEY ?

I can swear I just saw 3 figures near Barclays, might be them with Mikal trying to rescind the trade

Hali is a pass first point guard. He's gonna make the players around him better naturally. Curry is elite because the system and players around him push him to another level. Why can't the same be said for Hali.

BTW just saw your location makes sense. Jordan Hill or Hali?

NY needs bench and everything will be alright in future. They have good foundation for next step.

I actually think they where in a great spot with Brunson/Towns and having role players like OG/Hart, and then bring in cost effective rookies to surround their core.

5 picks

He really isn't worth it. His defense is meh at best. He isn't as switchable on defense as someone like Caruso due to lack of strength. He doesn't pressure the rim AT ALL. Over reliant and over confident on his jump shot which isn't that good to begin with. Not to mention his shaky handles and bad decision making.

His defense has always been overrated. I remember thinking how is this guy viewed higher than OG, when OG was on the Raps.

Hes not close to being as versatile as OG on defense. 5 picks for Bridges is insane. New York must of though they where getting post Phoenix trade Bridges.

That version of Bridges was good because defenses literally couldn't breathe on Bridges which gave him space to do whatever he wanted.

The following season, the refs stopped giving him fts, and he responded by turning into the low IQ perimeter chucker you see now

Gotta give kudos to the Pacers. They've won the game 4s after the game 3s...I really hope we don't go down in 5, but we might.

Frustrated at the team and Thibs too.

It's weird that comedy movies are basically dead and now you have guys like Will Ferrell who made a career out of them doing low grade commercials.

Yes, Haliburton didn't play because he was injured during Team USA, and it was never announced, but he had an MRI. So you're right, there is a reason.

Brunson has been outplayed this series. It's as simple as that. Hali is the better player.

So, it's been two games now since New York inserted Mitchell Robinson for Josh Hart into the starting lineup. How do you all feel about that?

I feel that Robinson has been less effective as a starter but, on the other hand, Hart feels much more impactful off the bench.

The problem with jump passes is that usually players will only go to them if they're panicking and have no options left. But that's not Haliburton. He already has a plan in mind before he jumps and he uses the jump pass to gain a further advantage (the higher passing angle, mainly).

I get your point, but at least two of those he had to whip it somewhere he didn't mean to.

double pumping and then hitting someone low on the perimeter wasn't his plan. I think it was Nembhard who got one.

Knicks stay the Knicks no matter what.

They need to go ahead and fire Thibs. Thibs is stuck in 2001. His ideal team is a small explosive scoring guard that can carry his defense.

I don't know how you have the second best offensive center in the game and can't put together an offense.

Knicks literally gave up their future for freaking Mikal Bridges.

Now that I think about it, they could've had Luka and put the him and Brunson back together if they kept their picks instead of freaking Mikal Bridges.

This board believes in conspiracies, I sure Adam Silver would've made it work somehow.

I feel like movies in general are dead, and only the big budget productions can still draw people in. It's sad.

If he can’t stop Brunson he definitely cant stop SGA. This is a terrible matchup all around for the pacers. From top to bottom. Chet defensively alone on Siakam is game changer because their is no advantage switch for the the pacers from any position

We'll see. It's possible I underrate Chet, but he's skinny like Wemby...Wemby recovers with length, but Chet's wingspan is 6 inches shorter. Throw in a little post-game and fadeways, and I'm hopeful an elite championship-winning number-two has a mismatch. I like that.

Neismith pretty stopped him this game, and that's a fact. SGA also has bad games. The Pacers can live with stars going off as long as we stop other players. If Nesmith can "stop" him one game, SGA is bad for another game or two, and we can generally slow him down over the series and live with not doubling, that's a win for our defense and puts us in position if we can execute on the offensive end.

Curry is elite because curry is elite. All eyes on him soon as he passes half court in whatever system or team you put him in. You can’t even put Hailburton in the same breath.
