Thank you for everything King.
I don't want to troll but I'm just not understanding why Cavs fans are responding with a 'thank you for all you've done' rather than getting mad at him.
Yes, he came back and got a title, but he also dropped the Cavs twice when it wasn't working for him. Not like he was traded.
Not sure how old you are, but do you remember the outcry and animosity from Bulls fans when MJ quit the first or 2nd time? There was none publicly that I recall. Sure they may have been sad, but was still thanked by fans both times for all he did for the team.
I'd be highly pissed if I was a Bulls season ticket holder and found out (a few weeks before the season started) that MJ was quitting the league while still under contract.
Chicago has had other past success with the Bears, to where the Cavs title was the first Cleveland sports title in like 60-some years. Before James, the Cavs had won 4 playoff series in their existence and 2 of them were in the same postseason. That's a long time when you have 3 professional Sports teams.
Its understandable to see where you're coming from that Cavs fans should be upset, but James gave them something they didn't have for a long time,...... constant competitiveness.
