Think he means this article - https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/247063/Kyrie-Irving-Tired-Of-Hearing-About-What-LeBron-Needs

It's SAS, so you got to consider that, bit if true it is some amazing stuff. The part about him not caring for LeBron to come back is what shocks me the most.

Didn't most people already know that part about not caring LeBron came back in '14? I thought that was common knowledge.

I didn't know that..maybe others did/it was widely known though?

Yeah, I want to say there were rumors about that back in '14. Even so if you followed the team closely basically everything around Kyrie has felt this way, like he was jealous of the press LeBron and even Love got.

Kind of dissipated after the Championship to where I basically had forgotten about it until the last few days.

He basically doesnt want to play with Lebron anymore its simple as that...he rather build with another organization than deal with Lebron...some personalities just dont work out

It's about time someone let everyone in to how difficult it can be having to deal with the day in day out life of LeBron James.

But I hope he can fully admit that hes not on the same level, and that it's probably the last time he'll sniff a Finals.

I now forgive him for the Flat Earthing

Amazing to read one sentence that says he's tired of being the #2 to LeBron, which we already knew? Or am I missing this article?

"Kyrie Irving agreed upon a five-year, $90 million max extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers 10 days before LeBron James returned to the franchise.

At that time in 2014, Irving reportedly "didn't particularly care for James to return to Cleveland."

After three straight trips to The Finals, Irving no longer wants to play alongside James.

“Kyrie isn’t saying he’s better than LeBron and should be seen that way,” a close confidant of Irving’s told ESPN. “He’s saying he’s not about to let LeBron ‘SON’ him … treating him like he’s the child and LeBron’s the father or big brother he’s supposed to look up to.

“Kyrie knows he’s a franchise-caliber talent. He wants to be treated like it. And he’s tired of hearing about what LeBron needs, and he’s damn sure tired of hearing LeBron sound like he always needs more. As if the crew they have isn’t enough.”

If the above is true that's saying a lot. And I'd bet there are others who have played with him who feel the same way, but don't have the guts to say it.

I think that most players in the NBA are upset at things like this. Most NBA players think they're hot stuff and would be right up there with LeBron and Curry if they had more help or more opportunity with the ball.

I'm sure Wade felt the same and was happy he left in '14, because he was tired of being the #2 and not having his own team. You can definitely say that Westbrook felt this way about Durant, or Blake about CP3. NBA players are often just delusional when it comes to these things, I don't think it's worth putting much stock into these sort of statements.

But they just don't say it publicly because they don't want to get laughed at or criticism thrown at them.

From reports it would seem that Cavs are content just keeping Kyrie and watching the feud take place. Not sure if they are just trying to get some leverage back or what. Talk about awkward first day of training camp when Kyrie and Bron reunite for next season.

That Bucks trade makes a lot of sense and I don't know why Greek Freak would want out after that. Kyrie, Giannis and Parker would be a great three to build around. Kyrie, Snell, GF and Parker with Henson is a nice group. Get Henson/Monroe with them and Deledova. Depth is an issue but use dried up money as an opportunity to grab some depth on Vet min. That's a team that can make noise in East

We're all tired of hearing about that Kyrie. Funny thing though is that when he gets traded and Lebron doesn't win the championship again Kyrie is going to get the blame for leaving him

a lot of people on this thread sure have written off kyrie based on his first 3 years in the league. I don't believe his only option are to stay or go to a team winning 30 a year. There is a wide range in between.

Curry averaged 14.6 a game but played in only 26 due to injury in his 3rd year. Glad nobody wrote him off. In fact it was in 2011 that mgmt decided that everything would be built around Curry's strengths and weaknesses. To me Kyrie needs a coach who knows how to do that. Lue.. he can't design a different offense for 10 minutes a game when lebron sits so I have absolutely no faith in him. And Kyrie needs to take ownership of his poor defense. He may never be great but you at least want people to see that you are trying.

There has been a lot of chatter from reporters with so called scoops from kyrie's camp or lebron's camp. What rings true to me is that Kyrie is tired of Lebron's vice grip over the organization. If it were about being "the man" then Spurs, MN would not be on his list.

I think a Suns trade makes sense. I'd like to see him and Booker together.

Let's get something straight.
Giannis will not be a 2nd banana to anyone.
Kyrie is great and all but if he wants "his" team then bucks clearly don't fit that description.
Giannis is a nice lad, he doesn't speak in public regarding FO moves and decisions but that doesn't mean that he will accept another guy going there and demanding the things kyrie will demand.
Other than that, the bucks are built via length, athleticism and defensive ability.
Brogdon and middleton are essential pieces to this logic.
Kyrie does not have any of the above skills.
As for henson, i suppose you haven't watched the bucks play last season.
The guy is the worse big on the roster, he can't do anything right and he's getting paid 11mil per year.
The team cannot get rid of him without attaching a pick.
Monroe proved his worth.
Yes, the bucks need one more solid PG but the guy who was a perfect fit for them will be playing in LA next season.
Patrick Beverley.

Yes, i want to see the bucks make the next step but it would have been a mistake acquiring a star just for marketablity and nationwide coverage.

Kyrie privately asked to be traded, giving the Cavaliers negotiating leverage, as far as they could have it, and didn't go public.

The trade was then leaked by apparently not Kyrie, and it doesn't make sense for the organization to leak it either, as they sabotage their own standing.

Now everybody has turned on Kyrie.

I dunno, the man is under contract and there's no reason to assume he won't play his best ball if he still suits up for the Cavs next season. I'm having a hard time vilifying Irving for simply asking for a trade, in private.

So, what is Kyrie's real reason for wanting to leave?
Is everybody just guessing?

I truly believe this will all work out for LeBron with regards to his legacy, probably because I don't see Irving having success as 'the man.' The narrative is going to benefit LeBron greatly if that is the case and the Cavaliers make the finals.

Near? The Warriors would win gold in the Olympics. And probably without as much as a hiccup along the way.

I don't understand why he wants to leave the situation he's in, I'm interested to see the real stories about LeBron if/when he gets traded.

Personally, I think much of it can be attributed to his idolization of Kobe. The parallels aren't hard to see. And he - and his camp, too - hasn't ever been viewed as loyal to Cleveland, so that attachment isn't their.
