i mean it’s a fact and i hate lebron. if lebrons 2nd and 3rd best player weren’t injured he’d obviously have a much better chance of winning.

Here are the facts:

-Spintown said that “the ONLY” reason the Warriors won in 2015 was because Kyrie and Love were injured.

-The 2015 series wasn’t especially close. The Cavs were beaten decisively 3 times in a row (2 of those times in CLE) to lose the series in 6 games.

-The fully healthy Cavs won on an incredible last second shot in the 7th game of a tightly contested series against a slightly knicked up Warriors team.

LeBron and Kyrie had the best playoff series’ of their lives, while Steph had his worst. Draymond was suspended for a game. Harrison Barnes went 5-31 on wide open shots through Games 5-7.

All of those things happened, and still CLE won by the absolute SLIMMEST of margins. To look at that evidence, and to conclude that a healthy GS team back then would have ZERO chance of defeating a healthy Cavs team back then is one of the most mind numbingly stupid things I’ve ever read on the internet. If those teams (both healthy) play a 7 game series 100 times, how many do you think CLE wins?

take klay and draymond off the warriors and the cavs without kyrie and love smoke the warriors.

What I like about these threads is that instead of showing a player is exposed, they expose two types of posters. Those who don't really grasp basketball that well, and those who are 100% committed to a narrative that they are unable to use any critical thinking, and therefore their positions on certain players are worthless.

Well, it's not literally at all, he can't set his own screens, he can't defend by himself, etc. He’s figuratively doing everything by himself (on offense) but he's certainly not literally doing that.

I called this happening in two earlier threads before the winning started. Yep, Wiggins is suddenly a basketball stud!

Still, the thing is...and (as a proud Wiggins hater) it hurts me to write this...Wiggins is playing better. Of course, some (most?) of the reasons for this lie outside of Wiggins himself. Curry's gravity is giving Wiggins (and Oubre) numerous wide-open shots--I've quoted the actual stats earlier on this very thread--and Green's presence seems to have terrified Wiggins into consistent effort on the defensive end. As one result, Wiggins has not played poorly over the last four games, and if this trend continues to the end, he will have been a plus player for an entire season...the first time in his career.

He can’t lead a team on his own. Last year was his chance to show otherwise but he copped out with a injured hand that never seemed to heal.

Same story this year, when he’s not surrounded by multiple stars and superstars he can’t elevate his game and the teammates around him and win against a healthy opponent. I would bet he will try to use injury to shut it down this year too.

His legacy has taken a brutal hit the last year and counting. He’s more a system player than a superstar .

What are you even going on about? From your post here, you were going off an even smaller sample size than the dude you're responding to.

Besides it's like you started watching basketball in 2017 when there is years worth of a sample size with Curry leading mediocre rosters in the tough Western Conference, heck you can go back to his Davidson days when he was absolutely tearing up major schools all by himself with a roster full of nobodies, arguably the greatest carry job in the history of NCAA. There isn't a single player in this league who receives as much defensive attention as Curry, yet he is still able to put up big numbers while being extremely efficient. He's been doing this since before he even entered the league, got drafted to the laughing stock of the NBA, put the franchise on his back, and you're out here acting like you were in a coma until KD joined the team. Talking about a small sample size lmao, what a joke.
