Kerr’s system (low iso, a lot of passing, screens and movement) brings great offense provided he has the cattle. Kerr uses Poole as the Curry role.

Also passings bigs into shooters usually brings great dividends.

First game of the season. Lakers need time to gel. Westbrook will be better moving forward obv. Lebron looks great. Just need a little patience. Lakers will be fine imo.

Some positive signs for the Lakers:

1) LeBron looking great.
2) Bazemore and Bradley both looking serviceable on defense and can make some shots.

I know what the Lakers tried to do in the summer: Lebron cannot carry a team for 82 games anymore, but I don't think Westbrook is the answer for that. I don't think he declined that badly as people say. He is just not the kind of a player that can sit in the corner for 5-6 minutes than turn it on. He needs to be on all the time, and he will not be able to do that playing with Lebron. They need to change the offense and try something else. D'antoni was able to make Harden-Westbrook work in the regular season.

lakers is worst fit for westbrook. he should demand a trade to neighbor kings for hield. win win.
westbrook legacy is in danger and the triple double as well.

I wonder how long Russ will tolerate Davis taking his rebounds. He almost knocked out Davis a little while ago trying to get the defensive rebound lol.

Westbrook need to come off the bench when Lebron is playing. Westbrook without the ball is absolutely useless. (Not that useful with the ball but much worse without it)

Lebron and AD looked great on both ends. By the trade deadline, one of Nunn, Monk, and Bradley will be off the team, and I suspect it'll be Monk because he's by far the weakest defensively. Bazemore looked amazing defensively.

Warriors offensive system looks amazing as usual. They're not even doing something crazy sophisticated, but it's the same principles as the title team and the players have bought in
