After Warriors repeated in 2018, we've had a different winner every year. So whilst Boston is clearly the best side, I did expect a different winner, just didn't want to imagine injuries playing a role, yet again.

ESPN is ready for this series to be over. Everyone is going to say the Knicks will go to the Finals and overlook the Pacers lol.

Knicks fans, I gladly admit that I eat crow not only when it comes to Brunson but with the Knicks in general. He is a certified baller and he’s not far off from the dominance of last year. Legit. Being up 3-1 on the celtics of all teams gives you major bragging rights. I didn't think it was possible.

Let’s close this out.
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

Boston has a good enough team without Tatum. I wouldn't be THAT surprised if they came back.

The extended double-big minutes helped. Jalen has figured some things out against Jrue and is just too strong for White, but it's KP & Al who he's really cooked in this series.

Kinda crazy when you factor in that he usually sits for 1/4th to 1/3rd of the quarter too.

In theory, yes, but I don't see the Knicks blowing a 3-1 lead to a Tatum-less Celtics team.

Boydanovics injury had a impact though..

Delusional.

I think most people acknowledge that the Celtics were not at 100% even before Tatum's injury. Brown and KP are clearly diminished. But they are at least playing.

The Knicks played in last year's playoffs without (literally) their second-best (or third-best) player in Randle. He didn't play any of the games. They also played most of the ECSF series without OG and Robinson, who were both injured.

So they were down an All-Star and their two best defenders. People mention Bogie's injury to highlight just how depleted the team was.

Not to mention that no one is healthy right now.

Brunson has gone to the locker room how many times already and is playing on a bad ankle
OG had a hamstring thing last night
Mitch is making his own way back from an injury that took a year or so
KAT was seen telling his dad that he broke something

Injuries apparently didn’t stop you all from going up 20 multiple times

Knicks had the game won at the time of his injury.

So Boston was done either way.

And people on here for years spewed the false narrative Kobe wasn't clutch. You even hear it about Curry.

No surprise RealGM doesn't give Brunson his due either. In terms of impact, no one even close come crunch time.

Last time I checked, you have to win 4 games.

And we won 3 with Tatum playing good to go 189/192 minutes. We already showed we are the better team. They weren’t winning 3 out of the next 4. Anyone saying so just sounds delusional and would never say that in other circumstances.
