It really feels like the pilot took the chance because he wanted to make his high profile client happy.
Who wouldn't want to try an impress another legend with your skills.
This could be why Kobe tagged the guy as his personal pilot.
I hate to think the guy might have been motivated by a nice tip from Kobe.
It was reported that Kobe and his pilot were used to taking risks. This is from the New York post:
Kobe used a chopper to play a trick on Pelinka, the LA Times reported in 2017.
Bryant had the pilot do military maneuvers on the chopper with Pelinka on board, and even turn the engine off in midair.
“My life was flashing before my eyes,” Pelinka told the newspaper. “I almost had a heart attack. Kobe’s just sitting there calm and collected.”
....after reading that I felt as Kobe and his pilot had flown through thick fog before. They were willing to take risks, assuming that nothing would go wrong.
The turning off the engine in mid air thing, can't speak for helicopters, but I have friends who got their pilot licenses to fly small planes, supposedly its a pretty standard trick with not that much risk.
This is true and it’s part of training. It is something you have to practice so if it ever happens “for real” you know how to recover or handle an emergency landing. It would probably scare the crap out of someone that is expecting a smooth ride like Pelinka though.

I listened to that audio....I think it was over in an instant, they had no idea. They just flew right into a mountain at 170mph with little visibility.

Why was there no blackbox? This sounds like a set up a hitjob. Plus there was the google thing where some ppl typed when kobe bryant died and on the top it showed as date of assassination..it later got changed to date of death.

It's a speculation bro..I'm not saying that's what happened but the google thing actually happened. The whole thing seems bit off.

I read somewhere that chemtrails may have played a role.

Why do ppl always dismiss things that's are completely plausible and try to label anything that doesn't fit their narrow world view as crazy? There's corruption and evil things happening at the lowest levels how is it that farfetched to believe that things like this could happen at grander scale when more money power is involved.
