Go Wemby. Quiet first half for him but scored 13 pts in the 2nd half and had some big time defensive plays late in the game that won them the game. His assist numbers would be significantly better if his teammates could hit some open shots too.

Finished with 15 pts / 7 rbs / 5 blks

Tyus is strong but he was short and old, gave no problem for Wemby. Monaco will have something more interesting to throw at him in Hall and Motiejūnas.

at least he had the ba*** to try, I figure after getting stuffed once or twice alot of guys, especially younger ones are just give up trying, Tyus isn't thinking about being in a poster, the kids these days probably do :)

No sneaking necessary.

Apparently, he's still thinking he's this guy...

He was once a great athlete, and back in the day, he might have had a chance to get one of those all time posters on a giant like that. But evidently, the realization that he's old and has nowhere near those kind of springs anymore isn't there yet.

I rememeber Tyus in very well from his Maccabi days

happens to every athletic guy, father time is undefeated and basketball players usually aren't that big on self awareness :)

Yeah, Wemby and Caleb Williams are going to set the card break prices at astronomical levels next season.

Obviously most Europeans are watching one other sporting event now, but I have Metro boxscore in the background, and I think the dream is over, Monaco is destroying Paris so far, 52-21 ouch.

Victor looking very bad. His defensive awareness is really poor. Struggles to anticipate and rotate.

Yeah it's a 32-point lead right now with under 1 minute left in the 3RD.

It's now a matter of how Mets 92 will adjust in the upcoming games, but it's certainly a couple of tiers above what they've faced. Asvel was supposed to be far better than Mets 92 but I don't think they'd have made it that much more competitive.

Honestly, ASVEL was garbage, whole season, they just have EL title, but thats it, team sucked, Monaco always were on another level. Just look how Okobo's role changed after transfer, he was superstar in Asvel, in Monaco he is just a guy.
