I read somewhere that chemtrails may have played a role.

Why do ppl always dismiss things that's are completely plausible and try to label anything that doesn't fit their narrow world view as crazy? There's corruption and evil things happening at the lowest levels how is it that farfetched to believe that things like this could happen at grander scale when more money power is involved.

Because evidence of a conspiracy somewhere is not evidence of a conspiracy everywhere.
Most rational people look for evidence first, and then craft their theory or narrative to account for the totality of available evidence, not vice versa (crafting a theory or narrative first, and then looking for evidence that fits the narrative).

People dismiss it because LITERALLY every time someone dies, the internet floods with these conspiracy theories from people who think they're detectives. Between your post and dozens of FB posts, I keep seeing that he was killed off by a pharmaceutical company for trying to trademark "Black Mamba". I think everyone has just had enough.

First of all, what you're saying is not "completely plausible". Second of all, even if it was (and it isn't), you have zero evidence. Just because something is plausible, doesn't mean it merits discussion.

Out of respect for Kobe, we shouldn't speculate here on conspiracy theories here.

However, I do kind of find that subject entertaining . Have to admit, wondered down the YouTube rabbit hole and well, it is interesting.

OT:
I'm finishing a 90 pages booklet about a medieval ruin of a lombard small monastery in southern italy.
some part of me badly wants to put ""R.I.P. KOBE"" somewhere......(or RIP Black Mamba)
(It's self published, only a hundred copies, so I can put what I want)

i feel equally as bad about kobe as i do for any human being or animal who dies of anything other than old-age, natural causes.

If you feel like it, do it. You can do that or quote him.

Kobe wasn't assassinated - you're not thinking straight.

It's a speculation bro..I'm not saying that's what happened but the google thing actually happened. The whole thing seems bit off.

When is the funeral taking place? This endless mourning is so annoying. Can't wait to get past it and focus again on basketball.

Is it usual that there is no blackbox in chartered helicopters?

Maybe they are just saying there wasn't one to protect the surviving family and decrease the publicity of this event

Yeah, the four days of attention to a tragic death is way too much :noway:

So I haven't had a chance to listen back, but that TNT segment with Shaq and the guys. Maybe I mis-heard, but did he say the last time he talked to Kobe was when he dropped 60 in his last game? Fam, that was 4 years ago. Maybe they exchanged texts, and I realize that's the new way of communicating but I find that hard to believe he hadn't had an actual conversation with him in 4 years.

looks like the story is starting to take that turn I initially feared.

He said Zobayan should have turned around or landed but may have felt the pressure to reach his destination, an occupational hazard for pilots often referred to as 'got-to-get-there-itis' or 'get-home-itis'.

'Somebody who’s a wealthy celebrity who can afford a helicopter to go places, the reason they take the helicopter is so they can get from A to B quickly with no hassle,' Waldman said.

'Anybody that flies for a living there’s sort of an inherent pressure to get the job done because if too many times they go, "No, I don’t think I can fly, the weather’s getting bad or it’s too windy," ... they’re going to lose their job.”

'They take chances that maybe they shouldn't take,' Waldman said.

Wow. that makes this even worse if so because it really didn't have to happen.
it only happened because the guy took a risk he didn't need to just to impress his client.

this coulld get ugly with lawsuits if they can prove that.

would you lawyer up if you were a surviving family?
