this won't work for the lakers.

westbrook had 5reb and 4assist. that means lebron is taking over and pushing westbrook aside.

that makes the acquisition of westbrook a totally pointless get. this right here is 30% westbrook. what a waste

the problem is these glass cannons cant play 40 games so thats what westbrook is for. but they wont concede to westbrook when healthy. if lebron was this good for 82 games, he would have not traded all his role players for russ.

Lakers can't have lost more than a game or two the previous-two years with efficient 30-pointers by both LeBron and AD, yet Westbrook managed to negate that enough to cost them this game. Truly incredible.

Not going to draw any hot takes about his potential fit with the team, but he was a net negative by all accounts tonight. There's just no saving grace for his inefficient shooting and playmaking, not to mention his revolving-door defense. He's bound to have more nights like this, which could minimize his costars' margin for error in potentially crucial games.

Great game by the Warriors. Even on off-shooting nights, Curry contributes in so many other aspects that he's much more consistently a net positive.

If Klay can return to form soon, it wouldn't surprise me if the team was in the title-contention mix. The team has more than enough motivation after three titleless years and should be a top-ten defense again; they just need more offensively well-rounded players beyond Curry to vault them back into the title-contention picture.

Bruh Lakers lose with AD and Brom playing as well as they can, while Steph was trash shooting. Not a good sign.
Warriors bench and Poole really did well.

Imo LeBron and Westbrook are not a good fit. Both too ball dominant

It's basically the same team except swapping Oubre, Paschall (bad defender) and Bazemore for Iggy, Otto and Bjelica. And getting Klay back. Unless you're incredibly high on Bazemores defense why do you think their D won't be good?

If Draymond is healthy I'd be surprised if they aren't top 10

They traded their depth for Westbrook.

Bazemore's the only useful role player on the team. (ok, Howard some when they go big or AD sits). Everyone else is a huge liability on at least one side of the floor.

Not to be that guy especially since I’m much happier he’s with the Heat instead of LA and I love Precious Achiuwa, but I think this Lakers team would’ve been so much with Lowry instead of Westbrook

Have you read/heard Lebron's thoughts on minutes? He doesn't think playing low minutes is really helpful at all, he's more concerned about the amount of work days. I'd lean towards trusting his judgment when it comes to his body.
