Just having a look at some of the replies now. So many cringeworthy comments about his injury. He’s not ducking. He landed on the foot of Jakob Peoltl. It looked quite nasty at the time. Not expecting Jokic stans to see it though as they would rather have a whine than look at facts.

Embiid landing on JP’s foot: his injury is fake and is dodging the Heat
JP landing on Embiid’s foot: Embiid is reckless should be suspended

Anyway, Merry Xmas to all and I wish your teams the best of luck today.

If his injury was so bad why did he finish the game?

At some point when you have a million coincidences it’s not a coincidence anymore.

Wtf are you talking about?? The dude seriously sprained his ankle pretty badly vs The raptors. Most players wouldn’t have even finished the game. He’s not ducking tough competition and it’s ridiculous that you think he is. Most players wouldn’t of finished the game but he did. Go look at how he sprained his ankle then come back and try and say he’s ducking good teams. You wouldn’t be able to even suggest that if you’ve seen how bad it was.

Embiid finished the game because if he didn’t the sixers would have lost.

Now I understand your an Embiid hater so I don’t expect you to look at footage of his injury but if you did I’m almost certain you wouldnt spew the bs you’re saying now.

But regardless of what you think he is still the OVERWHELMING FAVORITE to win MVP. But I do find it ridiculous that you and other Jokic fans think he’s ducking tough competition even after he suffers a serious injury caught on camera, or even after he scored 51 points on the best defensive team in the league. Y’all are seriously ridiculous.

Jimmy hasn’t played the last couple of games. He didn’t stay in to stat pad the last time he played either.

Embiid ducked because it's a marquee game that most everyone who votes for MVP watches, and he is hurt and may have a bad game.

Shame. I was going to vote for him in this poll, but ducking is just too pathetic

Telling us you don’t play sports without telling us you don’t play sports. If you have a sprained ankle, you risk making the injury worse. And if it is sore, you might put more weight on the other foot which could cause other injuries. I’d rather him to get healthy and recover quicker, then have him out their hobbling and making the problem worse just because “Walton the GOAT” thinks he’s pathetic.

Denver can't stop him anyway. He would just be accused of stat padding if he torched Jokic again. If he ducks Boston, yeah, I get it.

Jimmy Butler isn't playing either. I get the feeling if he did play, and destroyed Miami, you would just put an asterisk on it anyway. Either way, he's the runaway MVP favorite atm. One game isn't deciding that.

The last time he played in Denver was 2019.

You obviously didn't watch the game or have the memory of a gold fish. Jokic was torching and outplaying Embiid in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, Doc Rivers showed why he's a superior coach to Malone by putting Tucker on Jokic while letting Embiid rest on defense against an impotent Gordon. Meanwhile, Jokic had to exert maximum effort on both ends.

We saw what Jokic did when the playoffs came around and outplayed the AD/LBJ duo in every single game during the WCF. So make sure to put some respect on the man's name...he took out the GOAT in a sweep. :)

Lol I watched the entire game and Jokic didn’t do anything worth noting. Joel doubled him in points and rebounds literally doubling him in production. Embiids team won while Embiid literally made Jokic look a freshman JV player going against an NBA alll star.

I’m sorry but Embiid made Jokic look really bad that game.

   Lol at all these Jokic fans. Embiid has been the best player on the planet this season so the only thing Jokic fans can say is that (no matter how ridiculous it sounds) Embiid is ducking tough competition  they are so upset that he’s playing so much better than him that’s all they can come up with. It’s really hilarious considering Embiid legit sprained his ankle terribly. Makes it even more ridiculous after Embiid dropped 51 on the team with the best record and best defense in the league. You Jokic fans are by far the sorriest bunch of people on this board.

Oh and it’s probably making them even angrier that Embiid is leading the poll too. Y’all really need to get a life or just find it deep within to admit Embiid is better than Jokic right now.

Can you share the 1st half stats before Rivers realized Embiid couldn't guard Jokic and had Tucker guard him in the 2nd half? I feel like if you can't bring up the 1st half stats, you're exposing yourself as not having watched the game.
