Stop with the drop coverage. Need continued production from Mitch, Duece and Payne to give their starters some rest.

Indiana is controlling the pace, so this track meet style of play will favor them if NY can’t give their starters a breather.

I like the fact that Hart and Mikal can be secondary ball handlers, to help offset the full court pressure Indy keeps putting on Brunson.

They're in it though. They're not getting killed on the offensive boards, but it feels like every one of them has been points.

Decent first half overall but, obviously, there's a lot of stuff that we can work on.

Obi missed a couple of very makeable shots (including the blown dunk) and Myles has also missed a couple of good looks after a great shooting start. One probably wouldn't be able to tell from this thread but the Knicks are actually shooting better than the Pacers from 3 (New York is shooting 42.1%, 8/19, while Indiana is shooting 37.5%, 6/16).

We went through a length scoring drougt (lengthier than our standards, at least) at the mid-point of the second quarter but, thankfully, we didn't let New York's lead balloon too much.

Speaking of New York, MSG is rocking and that crowd is a huge, huge boost. That's expected, of course, it's why HCA matters.

This is shaping to be an excellent series. Carlisle will definitely have a lot of stuff to say to our players during this half-time break. Let's hope we can piece together a couple of runs, weather their response and win this game.

I gotta say bud, the Pacers where sharp as heck. They came out swinging. Knicks weathered that storm. Robinson in has been a huge key. Also Knicks using the bench shook me.

I love the Pacers but they all gotta step it up too.
