And in regards to last night
KD had 28/8/3 with 5 TO, 22 shots
LeBron had 33/7/3 with 8 TO, 22 shots
So using that lone game to say Durant doesn't have a big lead in the MVP race really doesn't make sense. Not only is it just 1 out of 82 games, but Durant and OKC went into Miami without Westbrook and beat down the Heat so so those two games cancel eachother out if anything.
What's your point?! it's not like Perk was defending LeBron. KD was gaurding him and got smoked big time. it hurts for you, but it happened to KD in a bad way.
And you think i don't know what you did there? posting just pts/rbs/asts and number of shot taken by them?
KD was 10/22, LeBron was 15/22 (thanks to garbage time pts and BS calls he could put up 28). 6 of LeBron's TO were'nt his fault (if you actually watch the game you would've known) and he did'nt play last 6 minutes. don't try to make last night game a good game for KD, he got smoked and he played bad. but LeBron played much better in their first H2H match-up.
And nobody's saying this game put LeBron in the lead, no, but it was'nt just a game in February. when you're talking about MVP race, H2H match-ups do matter. media made a big deal out of this game, everybody (including Durant) knew it was a big game but he played a poor game, LeBron played great and that has some effect on this race.
I still have KD in the lead, because of better numbers, better record. but it's close, very close. if LeBron play this good for another 2 weeks and the Heat get number 1 spot in the East he can very well take the lead.
