Embiid net on/off -2.9 this year. +10.3 last 4 seasons.

Why do you suppose that is?

Lineups and rotations/substitution patterns, homie. When you adjust the numbers (RAPM), It's very close between Jokic and Embiid. In fact, I think Embiid's multi-year RAPM was actually a little higher than Jokic's.

Announces to the entire forum that:

"I never actually watch Jokic play, without stating "I never watch Jokic play'."

  8-) 8-)

You get your self kicked out, that's on you. Your boxscore reflects it. Maybe he shouldn't be getting kicked out, and should try to work on that.

Jokic the best in the world.

35 And 1's for that post. Likely, 10x what you've ever gotten in any post out of 25,000 here.

Just think about that. Think about why that might be....

Umm, I've been here since 2005. And 1s were introduce more than 10 years later. Nice try though.

Jokic has always had a temper. He has done this in the playoffs as well.

Not an excuse... They're lucky they won against them. Calling Embiid out for flopping, then you got to call out Jokic for his temper.

An Embiid fan saying Jokic has a temper...let me educate you a little bit

https://www.foxsports.com/nba/nikola-jokic-player-stats?category=misc&seasonType=reg

vs

https://www.foxsports.com/nba/joel-embiid-player-stats?category=misc&seasonType=reg

(this only goes back to 2018 season - not sure if there's a better source)

Embiid has 11 more technicals despite playing in 80 less games
Embiid has 14 more flagrants (16-2 advantage!) than Jokic

:noway:

Jokic has been ejected from multiple playoff games. When it matters the most. He also nearly ended a players career by hockey checking them when they weren't looking.

Embiid has never done anything like that. The worse he did was have a fight with Towns, if you'll call that a fight. Both were to blame there...

How many ejections has Jokic had compared to Embiid. Why don't you pull up the stats on that? Oh I know, because it makes Jokic look bad.

Let me help you her, Jokic has had 1 playoff ejection, and 8 regular season ejections.

Embiid has had 1 his whole career, regular season and playoffs combined.

What was that you were saying about temper? To me, it seems like the one who has gotten ejected 8 times as much as the other might do a worse job controlling their emotions.

There’s only a big 3. You’re mistaken if you think Luka is better than Tatum. They are the exact Same level player.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

No Giannis or Luka either, so Embiid sticks out to me.

If it’s this list it’s Tatum or SGA ..cause Embiid still has the stink of the playoffs on him....

Thanks for sharing this - I would bet Giannis and Jokic will be on this list before the end of the year

Totally agree- none of the guys below Giannis and Jokic are prohibitively better- Embiid could argue they are the MVP and Curry could argue he is still great and a 4 time champ...but the rest of the guys are too close and no one has won enough to separate themselves

Giannis kinda going nuts right now - another 40 spot!? Over the last 6 games...check the numbers. And remove the game where he got kicked out -

https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/last-6-games-stats-giannis

Gianni is avg 41 points GAME LOL

There are levels here. Winning 3 in a row when you haven't won a chip was unprecedented.

What the case against Embiid? Hasn't advanced to the conference finals? Lol doesn't have the same ring to it.

People ignored Jokic winning without a chip last year because of how great he was. You can say the same with Embiid this year. Putting similar numbers, best team in the league right now record wise, and just lost an all star caliber player and hasn't skipped a beat.

He and his G-League teammates were down 10 in a game end of 3rd quarter and down 3-0 in series. Yes it was series-changing that he got ejected

Until the NBA says you gotta have playoff success to win the MVP, you're **** out of luck. Think about it like this, if you guys are saying Embiid shouldn't win with poor playoff success, then the same could be said about Jokic winning 3 in a row prior to winning the chip last year. It can be twisted both ways.

In the end it'll be between Joker/Embiid/Giannis. They're the three greatest players of this current generation (last 5 years). I consider LeBron/Durant/Steph part of the previous generation...

Jokic fans are already annoying enough, would be hell if they were campaigning for a 4peat

and Philly fans would be even more rabid about Embiid deserving it this year if he still didn't have one

notice how chill us Bucks fans are in comparison lol, we just want a healthy playoff-run

It wasn’t a travesty. Embiid is a beast and he cooked Jokic

he really killed him in that game in Denver, ur right! oh wait...haha

I’m mad at you for tricking me last year into thinking Jokic was worthy lol-
