No one other than a Knicks fan thought the Knicks would beat the pacers. Oops.

To be fair, G1 was 99.99% Knicks victory, so without that once in a lifetime miracle we would be now looking at a G7 in MSG. The Knicks are just there, and hopefully next year they will take the next step.

And the Celtics should of beat the Knicks 4 games to 1.

I’m glad the Pacers won. They are a MUCH better matchup for the Thunder than the Knicks would have fared.

Thunder are favorites, but it doesn’t feel like a guarantee at all unlike previous years.

What is the rational argument for the Pacers winning?

There is none.

- Pacers are very well coached. Their head coach is a proven championship level coach in Rick Carlisle.
- This team is FAST. Very fast.
- They are a very DEEP team. Unusually though at this level. 11 deep from a contending team in the playoffs is rare.
- best shooting in the league.
- Unpredictable. When their shooting is on, they are almost impossible to beat this season. Literally haven’t lost twice in a row since March 10th. Thats pretty crazy.

I think Thunder wins this, but I don’t think it’s a forgone conclusion and it will be closer than most people think.
