I'm not on record here for saying it but since last year I've always believed OKC is NOT a good offensive team and can't generate easy looks in a halfcourt set because Shai is their only creator. Basically 90% of their wins are from forcing an insane amount of turnovers and getting easy points from those. No other team can win this way because Shai hits extremely difficult isolation shots at a historically high rate. Indiana knows how to take care of the ball and OKC's putrid offense hasn't capitalized off turnovers for 2 out of 3 games. You can't expect to win close games taking the hardest shots in basketball

Let's not put that into the air.

Giannis on OKC just wouldn't be fair..

Actually want to see it happen— should mess up their chemistry.

Chet, J-Dub and Shai all with 20+ as well just adding to even more spookiness

Chet's second half performance was noticeably bad, but they literally got zero help from the bench tonight. Also, Wallace/Caruso were making a lot of stupid mistakes out there. Not being able to inbound the ball and the Pacers immediately scoring twice just can't happen.

I really thought Wiggins was gonna have a random 30pt game in the playoffs. That dude can score.

Yea, I really am not sure that this kind of win is going to be replicated in the series. The Pacers will need to keep winning the adjustment battle. Regardless, all Indy has to do is win game four to be completely in the driver's seat. Now that should be much watch tv!

The difference in game 2 was Aaron Wiggins…

This whole thing about every Pacers win being an outlier and every Thunder win being the natural order of the world is really weird

I'm a Pacers fan, so I have great respect for the team. I don't think this Pacers team is better than the Thunder's ala, if you play 100 games the Thunder probably win sixty. The Thunder [i]should[i] be up 2-1 right now, and I think if you replayed the series again they would be because the Thunder wouldn't have taken their foot off the gas. And so I look at it: how do you pull out wins against a team that's better than you?

The Ringer loves themselves some white american players. They can't wait for Flagg.

They love trying to be ‘trendy’ and ahead of the curve on players.

To the point that it is absolutely laughable how overrated some players are who have done nothing but had a few good games or maybe one good playoffs.

Daigneault's random experiment of starting Cason Wallace in the finals has been a disaster.

Also, I have to give Myles Turner his flowers for the defense he played down the stretch. He was absolutely suffocating in the 4th quarter. His offense was rough, yes, but his defense was astounding and it got us all the stops we needed to get the lead back and then close out the game.

OKC is still in a good spot to win game 4. I think this series will go 6 or 7.

there is a great offensive player somewhere in there... but him trying to play like KD isn't it. His handle is not tight enough to attempt the things he does.

Who can create on Indy? Difference is that Indy's coach has an offensive game plan that has guys always moving, allows guys to attack a moving defense off the catch. OKC's offense is watching Shai iso or sometimes JDub iso while spreading the floor with shooters. It can look good when the shots go in, but in comparison, it's ugly offense.

Haliburton
Nembhard
Siakim
McConnell
Mathurin

Those guys create better in a vacuum than Shai/Jdub/Wiggins/Caruso?

Outside of Shai and Hali?

Yes, Indy has more creators, without question. Haliburton doesn't even need to touch the ball for whole quarters.

Series isn’t done sure but role players stepping up is literally what wins teams finals.

No **** anytime would be in trouble without role players performing, particularly at home.

What’s to say they don’t have guys step up again next game?

I thought OKC wouldn't be effected by Indiana's pace because they have the youth and depth to withstand it. But by the end of the 4th, you saw Shai and Caruso with their hands dropped on their knees during stoppages. Indiana's conditioning is just ridiculous.
