Yeah if they kept their original pick would’ve been pretty solid imo

You think it was a good idea for them to trade their 2026 pick?

Jalen Williams, Caruso and Dort aren't good enough to cover the SF position?
Maybe they draft a SF at #24?
They're too small to go up against the SFs in the league. You saw how they looked against Pascal and Toppin. Small. They're strong everywhere so a small hole in the lineup isn't a problem. It would be ideal to get that 6'6-8" athletic SF who plays defense. Put him on bench, bring him out when you need the matchup, let him develop. That'll make them the most complete team in the league.
This. J-dub, Caruso, and Dort are undersized for most leading SFs in the league. Dort has the best shot because of his mass and agility.
If they go out and get Herb Jones or TM3.. it'll be insane for them.

Can't believe the Pelicans traded an unprotected pick for the 13th pick while also trading the 23rd pick. How can anyone be this stupid...

It's not ideal, but all three are good defenders. I think they can cover the position and there's no need to make rash decision to get a bigger SF.

If Newell is better than Queen, New Orleans looks really bad giving up an unprotected pick next year.

I like Nique Clifford as well, but another guard for Sacramento? Good lord. And what are they giving OKC for taking the pick?

They'll look bad even if Queens is okay and the 2026 picks ends up being a top one.
I said this before...does Dumars think New Orleans is a playoff team next year? Fears, Queen, Zion, Missi, Trey Murphy, Herb Jones and Jordan Poole.

I don't like the feeling of this for Sacramento. Anyone got the details? I will 100% guarantee they will be fleeced.

Oh god Herb on OKC would not be fair. Agree on both.

an OKC fan was saying Dieng isn't going to develop. I'm just playing arm chair GM tryna build an ideal team but I think like this kid Riley would've been ideal for that OKC SF spot. Let's see who else is left.
Jazz drafted Riley but Washington traded for him...? Any idea what the details are?
Yeah details aren't finalized. They're like swapping Clayton and Riley. The plus will be settled later I think.
Does Nique Clifford fit what you think OKC should be looking for?

We'll be asking each other about this crazy New Orleans trade for an entire year. Sucks for the fans.

Wonder if the Hawks flip next year's pelicans first either now or at the deadline. The east is wide-open and a possible Top 10 pick could get you another quality starter.
