Waiters has that old man game. Not an elite athlete, not the tightest ball handling skills, but just knows how to play, can just do a little bit of everything, can score from anywhere, wow. Nice, I LIKE! GREAT SUCCESS!

Waiters has been impressive. Give ross that control and he\ll do just fine as well. On a side note, Drummond has been far from a bust. This draft class keeps impressing.

Except that one jumpshot from the side he didn't look that smooth at all. Maybe he's quick and agile for his size, but not that skilled yet.

I don't think Jennings should pick a fight with anybody in the NBA.

I am really digging this draft class. Davis, Waiters, MKG, Beal, Barnes, Drummond, Crowder, Zeller, Lillard, Meyers, and Jonas have all had their moments and we're only one week into the season. Guys like PJ3 and Lamb also appear to have big potential. I think it's only a matter of time before we also see TRob shine.

His jump shot is still shaky, but boy can he get to the basket. And he seems to understand the game. Doesn't force anything. His all around game is better than any other rooks so far except for AD. I'm waiting on my Bucks top rook John Henson who got hurt early on and has seen limited action.

As a Bobcats fan I have to agree with this, he is already our best player arguably and is much better than advertised, for whatever reason Coach Dunlap hasn't given him more minutes but he has made an impact for us in every game and has been our most consistent player.

Talent and ability was never a concern with me for Davis, but considering the "cleanup" role he played at Kentucky, I never thought he would be so aggressive and confident as a scorer this early.

It's clear at this point that even the most optimistic scoring predictions will probably be broken. He feels like he needs to be the man with the ball, and he's doing a good job so far. He'll definitely hit his lumps, but I love him showing so much as a scorer so early on :)

The NBA really needs a couple good draft classes, glad this one is working out. I hope a lot of these guys live up to their potential, but then if they do I hope they remain rivals and not become another batch of super friends.

i think they've had 2 decent draft classes. and the league overall has a lot of talent. i agree that we need rivalries. sick of players blowing each other

This seems strange to me.

2008 had Rose, Westbrook, Love, Gallinari, Mayo, Gordon, Ibaka, Batum
2009 had Griffin, Harden, Tyreke, Curry, DeRozan, Lawson, Jennings, Rubio
2010 had Wall, Monroe, Cousins, George, Bradley (the weakest IMO of the last 5 years)
2011 had Irving, Kanter, Valanciuanas, K Thompson, Shumpert, Faried

They have some pretty nice talent. No LeBron's but all-star calibre players.

He struggled in the second half, probably a combination of spurs adjusting and him playing extended minutes since the start of the season.

Pretty much how it happened. And Lillard didn't look very aggressive in the 3rd at all and didn't play much in that period. The other part was how hot Batum was and making sure he had the ball. Still, 20 points, 6 assists and 2 steals is pretty respectful for a rookie.

And the thing about all those minutes. When you're a rookie thrown in the fire like that and playing a lot of minutes, it takes a lot to get used to because the NBA game is longer and you're playing games closer together rather than playing twice a week and 30 games a year in college. Then there is the point guard factor and how hard they have work and Lillard is getting double teamed a lot now.
