Well for the little ive seen so far, i saw Lithuania being up on Senegal 50 points or smt. Australia almost got their butt kicked by Senegal. Tomorrow will bring you the wreal answer though, when these two meet up. Rooting for my Baltic brothers! Australia is very sympatethic team though, i hope they pull through with Lithuania. Only two get to go on, right?

you should watch more basketball, like when australia beat usa and beat lithuiana at the last olympics by 26pts in the knockout round

the senegal doesnt mean anything, australia thought they could just show up and win by 40

Australia always and I mean ALWAYS plays bad against really weak opponents. It's a bad trait that has been around for a long time. On the plus side, we usually turn up for the big games. Tonight against Lithuania will be a big test. Australia's biggest problem is that coach Lemanis can't make in game adjustments. Like in the Senegal game, they were beating up the Boomers on the boards and in the paint yet he kept going back to a 3 guard lineup even though they have capable bigs (Baynes/Bogut/Landale).. I'm afraid he'll do the same against Lithuania tonight. If he does, guys like Sabonis/Valanciunas will feast.

100% Correct, we always struggle against teams we should beat. It has cost us before at tournaments.

Lemanis is a TERRIBLE coach, who's lucky to be coach of an NBL side. Thankfully Bogut/Ingles/Patty/Delly are there with their high Ball IQ's as you can see them talking heaps in timeouts and breaks. Why Landale only played a handful of minutes against Senega, I have no idea. They had 4 players on the court over 6'7 and we were playing Delly/Patty/Goulding and then Ingles or Kay at the 4 and getting killed on the O Boards.

I laugh at the lack of respect we get shown by the European fans. We've finished 4th at four Olympics (robbed of Bronze at the last Olympics) and made 4 x Semi finals and 6 x Qtr finals at Olympics. And this is our deepest lineup, even whilst missing at least 4 players who would be in our best 10.

Our biggest problem is now coaching and I hope we realise that before next year's Olympics

As Serbia fan i'm not happy that we are playing this good. It sounds (Please Use More Appropriate Word) but every big medal that we won we started slow in the groups and we had one loss that turned everything around. Im afraid that we lose in quarters or semis...

Maybe because Olympics is the easiest tournament in basketball. Lets look to the next Olympics. 12 teams only, spots allocated to 5 continents means that Q finals is almost a given.

It depends on how the Kings use him. Last year DJ had him playing on the ball and it minimized his ability to run off screens and get catch and shoot opportunities. The problem is Bogdan and Buddy are very much the same player. Both are best off the ball running off screens with a catch and shoot.

Did USA invite Draymond Green to play? He'd be a great small-ball 5 for this group.

Bogdan should be used as an on ball creator, his high BBIQ/passing are strengths. He’ll have higher BBIQ than backup point guards

He’s a baller. Injury issues and his confidence got shook a bit last season, but I have the feeling he’s going to be hard to keep on the Kings with next years terrible FA class. As a starter, in his prime, which I think will be in the next few years, he may be putting up 18/5/4 on good efficiency for someone, as a feisty secondary creator. I wish we could extend him reasonably now but that’s impossible.

It may ultimately come down to trading one of Buddy or him.

Lithuania/Australia is going to be a tight one tonight. Really big game for both as well.

Yep. This is the only interesting match in the first round. Both teams rightfully believe they should win.

Moment of truth! Is, Australia getting disrespected all the time from Eu fans, justified or not? And vice versa too, when it comes to Lithuania it seems.
Luka Doncic life matters too. No to racism!

And after that meltdown they might not even make out of group stage. If you think Turkey was tough, just you wait.

Yes, some here just don't understand how bad team almost defeated them. Turkey is very mediocre team.

Looks like the USA game has been a double whammy for Turkey. They lost the game and because they fought so hard and pushed it all the way to the last possession of OT they look gassed against the well-rested Czechs in a must win game. Rough.

"If you're gonna lose to the overwhelming favorite, lose handily so that you have more time to rest for your direct competition" seems to be the lesson here. Czechs offered no resistance to the US but that clearly ended up working in their favor. Obviously nothing you can actually preach to a team, but yeah.

I mean, I know that we are good but are we that better? Italy got pretty solid team.

Serbia absolutely destroyed in their previous 2 games, that's why the odds are so low. I got -12,5 myself, should be ez.

Won a bet, we relaxed again at the end, started shooting 3s from 10m... Keep betting on us. :D

Now Serbia and Italy makes new group with Spain and Puerto Rico. Should be easy going to 1/4 finals for us. And that 1/4 finals should not be a problem cause opponent would be Argentina/Russia/Poland/Venezuela. Clear path to 1/2 finals for Serbia. Unless there is no some huge upset.

Serbia is the only reason I'm still betting, would have lost my initial 200$ long time ago. Got Lithuania over 165,5 and Zealand +15,5.
