Now they also forgot the Technical FT for Lithuania. Not a good look, those refs…

what are you talking about, Jonas alone basically fouled out 3 german centers.

The way they play should foul out in the first quarter. Never seen something like this. Well of course, there is nobody that has a chance to stop him, but because u foul every time doesnt mean some of them shouldnt be called, but they aren't a lot of the time.

I think Franz' shooting splits in the 9 or 10 games in over 50/50/95 for around 20 PPG. Don't know his exact stats but it's close to that.

Brazdeikis was pretty crucial in this Lithuanian comeback.

The discussions in the aftermath of this game will be a mess.

You really never seen something like this? This is FIBA's 7/11. Personally, I prefer this reffing style, make men fight, sometimes it goes way too far, but this game is far from outrageous.

Jinxed when said Lo > Shroeder, Dennis the menace woke up, luckily he missed that shot.

Second overtime now. What a fight those teams are giving each other. Deserves better officiating..

Prime Saric was much better player than Vezenkov. He had some ball handling and playmaking abilities. Vezenkov is only spot up shooter. I don't believe either Saric or Vezenkov can have any kind of impact in Nba nowadays.

Saric looked like a potential star entering the league almost winning ROY. He's clearly a more skilled player, but unfortunately regressed a lot over time. A bubble-Dario, instead of unplayable Dario and Suns most likely win a championship a year ago. Vezenkov at best looks like a great role player, but averaging a double-double against best three teams in the group makes him a little bit more than 'only spot up shooter'. In this video there is also a mention of his cutting abilities as pointed out in a previous post.

Best eurobasket game so far.
It's a pity that Mo Wagner is injured, i think he would be good or even great in Fiba basketball.
Both teams deserved the W.
Franz Wagner was one of my favorites rookie players. He kinda reminds me of Dejan Bodiroga, because he can play 1-4, he can score, defend, grab rebounds, pass and his bbiq is very high.
Domantas' self confidence is very low at this moment. Still a great player, bad tournaments happens for everyone.

He will definitely be a prolific scorer for a while. Not sure about superstar given that he isn't much of a passer and though he plays with effort on defense, I'm not sure if he can Kawhi level good to justify the label superstar. That said,it's awesome that Germany has a go to scorer again.

Also, props to Maodo Lo for making back to back threes in overtime to close the game for Germany.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Lithuania needs a better coach. So many weird decisions and a bit unlucky at the end.

He's actually a really good passer. He's so unselfish that he usually makes the pass that leads to another pass that gets the assist. He's not like some players that only pass it if they have a chance to get an assist. I do think Franz will average over 5 APG for his career tho.

Been to the Lithuanian games In Cologne
Sabonis actually had some good moments but was constantly in foul trouble. At least one was a wrong call imo. I think he could have made a difference.
Lo was playing a lot of hero ball. In the 4th he took away Germanys chances, in 3rd overtime he won us the game.
Wagner plays more mature than the other stars.
Lithuania with less mistakes than the last two games but still with a big one when they had the lead.
