Alex Sarr offensive stats in the summer league so far: 5.5 ppg, 19% from the field, 11% from three, 50% from the line. .226 TS%, 3.86 PER

tbf he's averaging 2.5 blks and 7.7 reb so it's not like he has no impact but they weren't kidding about him being a project offensively.

Potential NBA scrubs should never be discussed, you are correct on that end.

Like most knowledgeable fans, they just choose to ignore Bronny since he won’t be a relevant player soon, or ever.

I went to nba.com and Bronny is title story... like wow, did he lead anything in stats? No, he was just random guy who wasnt terrible. Wow, what a story! Hes a nobody and we sick of outlets selling us thin air. They had article for players to watch in Vegas, and Bronnobody was number 7, ahead of first and second picks from the draft... For how long we keep this charade?

Social media, particularly Facebook, is even worse. ESPN, CBS, ABC etc are also milking the cash cow that is Bronny, for being the son and not as a worthy or good player. All posts about him even though he really has not done anything special.

"Snooze for 30 days" is the only way to punish these sites, if they post something like this (almost akin to fake news) i'll see them again the following month and see if they are posting the same trash. You get why they do it, it gets the reaction (both sides) and the traction for their socials channel but there is a way to go against what they are doing and that's just to not follow them or react to their posts for certain topics.

I think I definitely not guilty of giving them clicks and attention, I am very straight forward about sites and people i boycott. But I have nba app as just person who follow sports, and todays rockets game score was broken, so i figured to visit nba.com dirrectly. Sadly their page had same broken boxscore problem, but there i saw stupid Bronny front page. Story number one. Definitely aint clicking them again.

As local guy, I very much hate basketnews.lt page, but I was still clicking them from just habit, even tho its just straight trash site. But now i just deleted it all from quick dial, i recently got rid of facebook also. I only visit eurohoops and realgm now.

No Bronjamin game in Summer League today but if you're into players' sons there is this thing happening...

Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron James
Carmelo's son Kiyan Anthony
Tajh Ariza, the son of Trevor Ariza
And Carlos Boozer's son Cameron

All play for various teams in this tournament of some of the best high school players.

Boozer's kid is the only one worth discussing.

You must’ve missed the media coverage on players like LeBron, Westbrook, Melo, Embiid, Harden etc in the past 20 years.

It's crazy to me that in a league with Luka and Shai people still undervalue the skill of moving at your own pace. Being able to probe around the court find spots that work to your advantage.

He looked like the best player for the Cavs yesterday, very poised already.

He was pick 20 in the draft after 3 years in college.

Where should he have gone for you to think people value skill at moving your own pace?

I personally had him lottery but he was mocked as a 2nd rounder to be clear

Oh you mean people that mocked him low.. I tend to think onternet mocks are biased by a lack of watching. It's really a full time job to properly mock all incoming talent in the top 200. Only team draft people probably get it done reliably

Trey Alexander is gonna be better than half the dudes drafted in the second round. He could be Denver's main backup PG by 25-26.

Pisses me off seeing Kolek doing well when he was precisely what the Suns needed but, because James Jones is a moron... yeah.

Heat literally put together a summer league super team. Just rocking everyone in Vegas.

We had a really good group come in from this years drafted/undrafted pool of players.

Miami is beating teams by an average of about 21 points in the summer league. And, this is in a 40-minute period

Ware looked good yet again. Hes not dominating SL but it’s clear he’s the best player he steps on the court every game
