Baffling decision by Denver. Murray hasn't been paying attention to his man all night with weak ass doubles, Denver bricking wide open looks all night, continuing to play Porter (this dude is a terrible basketball player, they won that chip in spite of him being a terrible player), goofy passes, etc.

As others have said, just a lot of self inflicted wounds that are just really bad IQ stuff. Denver just can deal with success, as soon as they get the slightest cushion they start doing dumb stuff. Roster is a disaster aside from Gordon and maybe Braun around Jokic.

Don't pass out to MPJ when he's cold!
Mpj is supposedly a shooter

Great game from Joker. But after the last 3 games, I wouldn’t blame his teammates for the current situation. He didn’t hold up his end of the bargain in the earlier games. Can expect this cast to step up every game.

You tried man.

You tried.

Can't spin that performance.

That's the best player in the league.

OKC have finally learnt how to learn tough gritty playoff games and series after being in a couple of holes. They now have the 'Belief' they can win it all (not saying necessarily they will win the chip but they are now a lot more tougher and experienced than last season's team that lost to the Mavs)

Honestly, in the West, that thinking is good for one season. Win it this season, because these Western teams and playoffs are completely unpredictable. And with this first and second apron cba mess, who knows what teams can even look like.

it was over when Westbrook airballed 2 threes...Nuggets margin for error is too small to be bricking that many shots

Porter 1-7
Westbrook 1-7

Jokic 17-25

Yeah, his teammates are going to get roasted for their performance tonight.

If Jokic played up to par this series, DEN would be up 3-2 instead of being down 2-3

I think Denver is just one bench player short with how well Jokic is. Just someone who can play 20 minutes a game and not be a complete liability on either end.

There were lots of hot takes flying about when Denver was up 12, and I’m sure plenty more today/ tomorrow. But I think Denver can force a game 7, which they’d have absolutely taken if offered before the series started

not actually. learning to win tough games is one think but they are playing a winning basketball at times. they are still struggling to find a reliable hand on offense sometimes. even those dort 3s wouldn't be enough if someone not named jokic scored a fg in the final quarter. i think it is a warn sign that they are struggling against this denver defense considering wolves waiting them in cf.

Watching Jokic, the best player since MJ, play with this level of supporting cast in his prime is a legit crime against humanity.

People will bring up LeBron in CLE, but that dude was in his early 20's and was playing with 2 other All-NBA guys when he was 25/26. Joker has literally had nothing his entire career.

It's getting really tiresome watching this man be the best player i've ever seen play the game of basketball, put up these heroic performances, just for his mediocre team mates to literally do nothing all game.

Murray and Gordon are solid starters, but 2nd and 3rd best player? That is legit a shame, MPJ's salary slot should have been going to a legit max level player, and the 13mil going to Zeke and Zaric needed to be a legit 6th man type.

DEN has literally just needed to field a solid roster that goes 8 deep and they would have mopped this generation.

Credit to OKC, but i just cant get how mediocre this guys supporting cast has been over the years.

This. And Jokic knows he can go off at anytime, but in order to actually WIN he needs to setup his teammates, how do people not realise this?

Nah this is over. When’s the last time both Jokic and Murray had a good series, ‘23 Finals? When’s the last time they both had an efficient game. The best thing for Denver’s long term future is that they get whooped in game 6. Only then will management realize that Jokic and Gordon are the only reliable consistent players.

Murray has been fine in this series. Denver are losing because they have no bench. It’s feast or famine from Westbrook and MPJ is what he is.
