Brunson is 1A, so I dunno why you're bringing up Hammons take. Maybe back in 23 Brunson wasnt as established as he is now. But now I dont think its a debate anymore.

It’s rare to win a championship with Brunson’s archetype being your number 1 option. Though same could be said about Hali, but they truly have a great team of players who are stars in their roles.

This series if it shows anything clearly is how a coach can shift a team from good to great … Thibs is being outclassed outcoached for the moron he is. Never adjusts , plays his favorites , doesn’t hold his favs accountable… What’s the point of benching Hart if you still playing him 40 mins a game only to see him turn the ball over again and again killing any momentum, not giving the ball to KAT enough as the pacers don’t have answer for him? Not playing his bench more when they provide spark and energy, this guy is clueless and majority of us Knick fans know he is the major issue

The Josh hart obsession from Thibs is insane. Having him Brunson and kat on the court together, the defense is just god awful then. The amount of times hart gets beat back door, Brunson doesn’t switch, does Thibs not see what is going on. Ridiculous

As a Bulls fan that lived through the 90s rivalry, I am rooting against the Knicks whole heartedly. Yes, we had some run ins with Reggie and the pacers, but I have just always hated the Knicks. However, this series isn’t over yet. Neither team has 4 wins yet.

It was a fun run, but one that seems to be coming to an end.

I'm not sure what the Knicks can do from here to get over that hump. It is just year 1, but limited assets to improve.

They won't replace thibs this season, but after next season, they may need to find someone to unlock this offense and the team's full potential.

Two things stuck in my mind after the game: Hart turnovers and terrible pick n roll defense allowing open lay-ups.

Well deserved win for the Pacers. All I ask is to have a W in the Garden for the last time this season and avoid gentleman sweep.

That's always gonna be an issue for the Knicks as long as Brunson and KAT play together. Switching doesn't fix the problem because you are stuck with a big on Haliburton or Brunson on an island

They can fix it by playing double big with Robinson, but that stunts the offense.

The Knicks need a big who can stretch the floor and defend if they want to play Brunson and Kat together. Alternatively, you have to find ways to stagger Brunson and KAT for extended periods.

The Knicks look absolutely lost with the pace the Pacers play at - its relentless. Also, we're seeing how the identity of last year's knicks is gone with the new players added in the offseason. They just aren't a good enough defensive team anymore.

Man there may not be a rougher sports fan existence than being a Knicks fan right now. 52 year drought....barely made an ECF, looked like they had no shot this year because of the Cavs/Celtics. Get past the Celtics, Cavs get taken out - destiny for the Knicks, right?? Man....that's rough

If the Knicks can win game 5, which I think they will. There will be a helluva lot of pressure on the Pacers to close out at home in game 6. Pacers are in the drivers seat but this thing could get really interesting really fast.
