I remember, me and few other posters were critical of how Spurs treated Wemby in the first half of the season by letting him go 3pt line and jack up shots whenever he wants.

But now, he's basically doing more reps on his bad habits. You can say he's just 20 years old but it's easier said done to change the playing style and such habits after playing professional basketball that way for years. You can still win 22 or so games while playing in a way while coaching your team better. Because that bad habits wont likely change once you say, ok, now we're playing to win.

Now, all I see, that 7'5 guy on French team going above 3pt line in almost every positions breaking the actual called plays, making things harder for teammates, even though there is not enough spacing for him to drive even if he gets the ball. It seems like a season in NBA made him a very good NBA player but not a very good overall basketball player yet even though he definitely has the skillset and skill level to be one.

wemby is going to be ridiculous but....he needs to bulk up a bit more, not enough to lose mobility but....obst shouldn't be able to push you out the paint....Guess it'll come with more time
