We have the same story with Terrence Ross, except though that he's fairing out a lot worse in stats. Though Casey has put Ross in his doghouse in favor of Alan Anderson and Dominic McGuire, two scrubs, even though Ross has shown to be better defensively, at the very least. It's hard to tolerate old school coaches who don't like playing rookies, because I really like Casey.

While it was mostly in mop-up time, I did think he looked good in his brief time on the court against the Thunder a few games ago. With Landry Fields struggling and Dominic McGuire and Alan Anderson being, well, Dominic McGuire and Alan Anderson, I'm surprised Ross isn't being given more of a chance. Let's face it, even with Lowry, the Raptors are going to be doing good to get a 5-8 seed in the East. I'd like to see Ross get more minutes and time to develop.

Timberwolves PR ‏@Twolves_PR

#Twolves Alexey Shved ranks 2nd among NBA rookies in assists (4.0 apg), 11th in scoring (7.2 ppg) and 13th in rebounds (3.2 rpg).

And I think it's safe to say Shved has been better so far than his stats show considering his clutch play and totally unexpected good/great defense, what a steal for the Wolves considering how desperate they were for a SG and how rare good shooting guards are these days.

Waiters has been playing like a true Philly baller. I'm really proud of my boy.

Rare for a shooting guard to see the floor and be able to make passes like Shved can.

Andre Drummond is playing very well vs Thunder. He actually brought the ball up the court after a steal to hit a wide open Singler for 3.

Drummond with
4 points
4 rebounds
1 assist
1 block
2 steals
9 minutes
and huge defensively.

Team started to collapse once he went out of the game.

Found MKG's highlights from the Dallas game. Obviously doesn't include the 12 rebounds and defense, but it'll have to do

dummond only plays 2 minutes in the 4th, gets benched for jerebko who played like a scrub (1-6 for 3 points and -10), pistons lose by 2 points. drummond and monroe had been on the court together for a total of 0 minutes. please fire frank.

Same issue going on with Val, vets keep playing over him even though he had 10 points in less than 20 mins. Same results with losses. Losing teams have no reason not to play their star rookies.

Poor game for LIllard. His finishing at the rim has been underwhelming so far this year. He has also gotten pressured into being a non factor by teams succesfully so far. Hoping to see improvements.

Not only that , his D has been kinda horrid by penetrating guards... Which I find somewhat hard to grasp just remembering his training videos how quickly he can laterally move with weights on.

still too early to be hard on him, but he has had a bad game today

I thought the biggest adjustment from a small school in college to the NBA was playing with legit shot blockers and rim-protectors.

His 3 point shooting has also been off the past couple games. At least compared to SL and preseason.

Past couple of games? The game before tonight he was 4-8 from 3-point range. I guess you think that's an off game from there...

Well he's a rookie, even guys like Rose had similar games their rookie years.
