Are tickets cheaper in small markets? I would imagine they are. I know in bigger markets, unless you're earning well into six figures, you can't afford tickets so the crowd just ends up being celebrities and executives. Most of these people don't give a **** about the product on the court.

If Iggy won in 2015, then I genuinely think McConnell is the frontrunner right now if the Pacers win. Narrative obviously plays a part in the award and TJ pretty much single handedly turned around games 3 and 6 when he checked into the game.

They'll probably still win the championship, but it's hard to see the argument for OKC being some all-time elite team now. Championship level for sure, but an all-timer? Eh.

Conversely if the Pacers win the chip, they will be remembered as a team for the ages, one of the most plucky underdogs with an historical/all time great play-off run with so many brilliant comebacks
