Celtics going all out during the regular season is going to cost them in close playoff games. I believe they were lousy in the clutch all season as is. When you play that intense of defense all game you have less in the tank at the end of games.

I'm glad refs stopped calling fouls where the player on offense changes his shooting motion or contorts his body for dramatic motion when going up with the ball. If you voluntarily change your own shot to avoid the defense and make contact with a rather stationary defender, that should not be a foul

Sloppy handles and dont have the smoothness of other guys. Tatum starts veering in one direction a lot and gets trapped way too easily.

The thing is, Tatum did accept a lesser role on the USA Olympic team and he did well in it and still got his. But he doesn't even have to take that much of a lesser role so much as expanding his game to include others more.

When Derrick passed him the ball, Derrick created space to get the ball back and swing it but Tatum chose to take a contested end of clock heave after inviting a double. Just not the smartest basketball and he's fully capable of unlocking even more to his already considerably talented game.

Tatum has ben moving the ball incredibly well imo. Game high 8 assists. The commenters were saying need to be more aggressive. Of course you can pick out plays where he could have made a better decision though. And yes, Jaylen has not improved as much in the playmaking area.
