Edey is probably not playing.

Thatd be sad. What happened?

Ankle injury. More precautionary than anything, but they're not gonna risk it. Other than Ja and Jaren, he probably is the most important player on the roster, even over Bane because he fills such a need.

How is that different than Herro or Ant Simons?

Wolves don't have one of those two players :o

Somebody just airballed a putback from half a foot away from the rim. Possibly less.

Not from my team.

Quite the feat, that.

In the Celtics game earlier a guy airballed a free throw, and not short like you usually see but it went about two feet to the right of the hoop haha.

Any Hornets fan know what's up with Salaun? He's not on the injury report but he has barely played all summer league.

I was pro Edey. Hes such a presence and not immobile. Hes got a competitive spirit about him too that I like.

He had a knee laceration and didn't play in the California SL.

Besides that he's being "rested" or whatever you want to call it for most of the Vegas one. He's not injured.

4-1.

Good LVSL result for a team with lineup changes, guys playing like a team, hustling on both ends, led by a first time coach Trevino, plucked from our video room.

GSG!

Man, Jaylen Wells got hot today and was draining 3s with all kinds of pressure on him. Quick trigger too

A+ draft for Kleiman. Edey is a no-brainer, but Wells has a specific lane to success if he can be a flame thrower at his size. Spencer has a harder path, but he's one of those guys who just does a lot of things well like John Konchar, that he also may stick.

He's a great rebounder, just not sure if he has enough other skills to play very much in NBA. I'm hoping he can, with Jalen Smith gone, he there is a opening at backup or 3rd string center. I think they played him low minutes so others could play, they know he's gonna stay on the roster.
11.6 pts, 8.6 rebs, in only 18.5 min.

What about Isaiah Jackson and Wiseman? Are they not in front of Oscar in the rotation?

Jackson is certainly ahead of him now, but if Tshiebwe got some time and played better, maybe?

Wiseman, I would hope Tshiebwe would have a chance to beat him out. Not many have any faith in Wiseman, so I don't know. He was good pickup for cheap, the way I look at it.

Agreed. Spencer looked really good, even better than Wells this summer. Hopefully he’s not overwhelmed by athleticism and length in the league but he knows how to play and can stroke it

Ron Holland really looked better as the SL wore on, seems to get to the rim at will and is a strong defender. His shooting stroke needs some work but does look smooth and the path to him becoming at least a league average three point shooter seems to be there.

Final stats in 27.4 MPG are 18.8 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.5 stocks on 41/24/65 splits.

there are nuances he needs to pick up that come with time. He's going to be really good. I'd love to see him protect the ball on his drives better. He "shows" the ball too much which allows him to get stripped. Also, I've noticed that he isn't confident in his athleticism yet. He would catch bodies in the G-League but he looks to be giving too much respect. Once he realizes he's still one of the best athletes in the league we'll start seeing him be more aggressive. I'm curious how their lineup will look like.

Why is that a bad thing? The thing is, Dillingham will never be asked to carry the offense in Minnesota as long as Anthony Edwards is around.

A Timberwolves team that went to the WCF adding someone who you just compared to a former 6MOY is a coup. Especially when pundits kept saying there's no possible way for the team to add talent to the roster after going "all-in" on Gobert.

So the MVP was second, not first team?
