I think the best way for the Celtics to win the next game is by purposefully not getting a big lead in the first half. Like soon as the lead gets to 10, switch to zone defense or some aggressive trap defense that may give up some easy points. Then keep the game in single digits going into 3rd qtr and actually see if it’s possible to get into a small deficit going into the 4th qtr.

THEN maybe the Celtics stars like Tatum and Brown won’t wet the bed by playing it too cool thinking they have the game wrapped up.

Do you feel like Nets should’ve held off on trading Bridgrs to get more for him? Panicked and traded him away for 5 first rd picks that are all gonna be in the 20s? Not to mention yall traded him to an inner city rival that you helped turn into a contender with that trade by giving them the most durable player in modern basketball history who’s also a complete menace defensively every time he’s on the court.

I think a team like Houston may have traded away a top 10 pick in this upcoming draft in addition to just as many picks Knicks traded for him…if yall had just waited.

It's mind-boggling what I see, and as a Mavs fan, can't help but think about, why weren't they in this mental disposition during the finals? I think the Celtics are a much better team, they have defended the Knicks so well, and yet, they collectively crapped the bed in both games' last 10 or so minutes. One thing to remember is that the Knicks have been much better on the road than at home this playoffs. Going back to the Detroit series, the away team has won 7 straight Knicks games. I'd be very surprised if that trend doesn't continue for at least one more game. The Celtics can't keep missing threes forever. I imagine a change of scenery will be good for them at this point.

Celtics fans shouldn't panic. The same team that blew two 20 point leads was good enough to have two 20 point leads. If their two stars settle down in the 4th it's very possible we'll see a long series.
