Ah yes getting the best center in the draft and trading for another young center.

TERRIBLE JUST TERRIBLE

They have 6 centers on the roster
I never understood why some fans approve their FO so passionately. I remember some Suns fans being happy with Josh Jackson and preferring him over Tatum even after their first year. Same with Ayton vs Luka

It has to be team PR staff posting here. It’s the only logical explanation.

It is absurd that the entire first round is likely to take around 4 hours to complete.

This is all part of Silver and his agenda to drag it out almost as long as the NFL draft.

I still cannot believe New Orleans actually gave up an unprotected 1st next year just to trade up this year. There is a 100% chance their front office has been huffing glue tonight.

I don’t think it’s possible for us to have as many guys missing as last year. Even for the Pels.

I hope for your sake and other Pels fans they are competitive, but I just don't see it. Relying on Zion to be healthy, I will not be fooled again.

I won’t be totally shocked if they crash, cuz PelsLife, but just two seasons ago we won 42 games with Zion playing 29 games and Ingram playing 45. Just last year we won 49 games. The young core that kept us afloat is older and better than it was. We’re a long way from a title contender, but this is far from a basement dwelling roster. Poole is basically a younger version of CJ, a 3rd or 4th guy way miscast in a leading role.

The team still has a lot of young talent that is getting better. Murray is probably a write off this season. Winning 20-25 games would be a complete disaster and playing way below it’s talent level.

With the flattened lottery odds, all bets are off. If they make the play-in next year, they overachieved.

It's like the Nets couldn't decide which one of the three, Demin, Traore or Saraf, is the best overseas guard prospect, so they decided to play it safe and select them all.

Really shows that certain gifts just can't be duplicated.

Once they traded Schroder and Ben Simmons, they literally had no ballhandling playmakers. Now they have Demin, Traore, Saraf and Wolf. That's a lot of guys who love to pass the ball. Sean Marks has nailed this draft.

Maybe, but you can't play three point guards at once. Unless it's Traore at PG, Saraf at SG, and Demin at SF..... actually, that sounds wild....

Be interesting to see what they do with Cam Thomas but yes it's an impressive haul by Brooklyn.

They could also get a decent package for Claxton too.

Can't wait until 2030 when we're getting 1 pick per night (still 4 hours each tho lol)

I'll add...how does Queen fit with Zion and Missi? I guess Queen plays PF when Zion is out (because he's hurt often)?

Someone has to come off the bench. I mean, Simmons and Schroder didn't play together either. They split the playmaking responsibilities when they were on the Nets. Your Minnesota team didn't have a capable backup point guard all season. Teams need more than one point guard. And the odds of Demin playing point guard in the NBA are not high unless he proves to be a Luka or Cade like offensive player. I mean, Giddey plays point guard, but regardless of his numbers, I don't like him because I can't hide him in the playoffs. Demin as a secondary playmaker, he has a ton of value with his size.

I'm not a fan of the picks, but it's not a bad plan. Develop players next year and get a top pick in 2026. They'll also have cap space.

What happens with Cam Johnson?

I can't believe they couldn't trade at least 3 of them (Like OKC did with the Spurs trade). Picks depreciate in value by 50% as soon as you take them off the lot and would've thought they had bigger ambitions a fews years down the line.

Could be a fun young team to root for, though

Watch Celtics get Mcneely or Kalkbrenner in the second round.

I like Queen almost anywhere but with Zion lol. If he can switch at all, we can make it work in spurts, and there will be plenty of non Zion minutes injury or not.

I do like that he’s a completely different look from Missi. He and Fears both add a lot of much needed ball handling, hope they are up to speed as contributors early.
