They act as VC going there is small change but Shaq going to the Cavs is the biggest trade ever. Homers. The only championship the Cavs will be competing for next season will be the media appreciation championship. BSPN will be happy to give that to them.

Hollinger already guarantees turkoglu is gone but shaq is a godsend straight for heaven to the cavs and basically waives off the vc trade even before magic got vc and cavs got shaq they would still beat cavs but now with an exclamation mark they pound cavs after getting vc.

Another trade with PHX, Cavs bought the rights to Emir Preldzic, a 6-9 Slovenian forward who is playing in Turkey. Will stay overseas

Not exactly a bright spot on Andre Buck's resume.

Shaq makes the most noise because Shaq is Shaq. And he will help the Cavs more than Carter will help Orlando if Orlando loses Turkoglu. I think Turkoglu to Carter is a step down for O. The Cavs otoh get Shaq for nuttin' and they lose no one in the process.

Why all the Mills love? If he hadn't played in the Olympics nobody would even know who he is. I understand the human interest story and that people are enamored with him because he made a couple jump shots last summer, but his body of work doesn't come even remotely close to warranting this type of lust from fans. His game is that of a 6'0 170 lb 2 guard who can't shoot. He wasn't even the primary PG on his team in a very weak conference. Career stats of 41.7%, 33%, and 3.7/2.8 ast/to = garbage. For his elite quickness he sure doesn't get to the line very often, again, against weak competition.

Jerel McNeal is going to be a very nice undrafted free agent for some team.

Carter is an hof'er, Turk is not. I'm claiming what I saw in the play-offs was a Turk who was invaluable to O in many many ways that Carter cannot replace. And Lee is a budding star...you saw it. My question to O is "what's the rush"?

I laughed @ Jennings today

"Many people thought I can't shoot. I think I proved that".

Education or bust.

I don't see anything that Turk does better then Carter at all and I am a Turk fan.
As for the trade, I am pretty disgusted.
I was actually really excited when it was first reported, because I like Lee a lot and I know my team is going in the direction that Carter doesn't make much sense.
Then I found out Anderson was being sent to Orlando and I realised we had been violated.

Basically we got a straight salary dump for VC and then swapped the 21st pick for the 22nd.

It's not that I don't like Lee, or that I ever really thought we would get much for Carter, but I figured about what we got, without having to add a player like Anderson.

Anderson is going to be a stud. He would have likely been a top 10 player in this draft based strictly off his college production and potential and would have been a lotto lock, let alone the fact he had a very productive rookie year minus his field goal %. And no, I do not base my expectations or value, nor potential of players strictly or even mainly off #'s.

Just watching the replay and the Shaq interview is hilarious.
He really let the condolensces to Jacko's family and his congratulations speech to the draft picks run together, it sounded like one thought and just came out so wrong,

Carter is a better playmaker than Turk, better at penetration, better shooter, and is more clutch. I really don't get what is with the Carter hate. As a knick fan, I dislike him, but it is pathetic how many people actually try to pretend that he isn't the next best SG in the league after Wade, Kobe, and Roy.

I'm sure someone will say how Vince always needs to be a star, and yet he took a back seat to Devon Harris this year. VC is an upgrade over Turk in every sense, Orlando will have a healthy Jameer next season, and now can re-sign Gortat since they don't have to worry about signing Turk.

can someone just explain to me what happened that made Jeff Teague go from all-world prospect to dropping all the way to Atlanta? I think he is a big-time player, and if he busts, I will just blame it on bad influence from Crawful.
RIP Jared Jeffries. Gone but never forgotten...2006-2012

Apparently, if you and your brother enter the draft, and your not as good as him, you WILL be a PHX Sun.
