Interesting.........I thought it was talk like yours that made you seem like an idiot. No one on the Bulls board has said Rose has the potential to be a HOF PG or the GOAT at all. As of now Rose is a top 3-4 PG, in the league now. That's it. Numerous professional analysts have said it, and you'll only find haters that will refute it. ), he is a well below average defender, he has below average court vision, average at beat playmaker. Although he is a good scorer, I don't see a team winning a championship with him as the 1st option. Like others have said he's more of a SG playing PG.

Not going to try to prove that he's good. It's laughable to say he's an average player, or just a bit above average. So what does this leave us with? Bad? He's certainly not that.

If you want to argue about him ever being good enough to be the best player on a championship team, then your boxing a parapalegic. It's not hard to see how the odds are stacked against any team with the best player being a point guard.

Have to go back to Isiah for that, and i don't think many people would argue whether he's on that level or not. Most level headed Bulls fans know this, still doesn't mean he's not good.

are all clearly better right now

then he's in a tier with the likes of stephen curry tony parker russell westbrook and chauncey billups i got no problems with you putting him 1st in that tier(im not as the others all have better pg skills than rose) if you're a big fan of him but to say he's clearly top 3 is just sad

The whole freaking discussion is obviously obsolet, because we were both on two different pages from the start.

I edited that before I even read your initial response because I read it myself and found the mistake I made. But I did mention it later on when I elaborated. I take it a simple mistake is actually throwing you a curveball. Won't be making that mistake again.

Actually I disagree that they were huge problems, in fact the problem was more the lack of a real 2nd option and playing Noah or Deng in a role they shouldn't have played in.

Which I've been saying throughout.

And I also don't think that Rose looked worse on the court, just his stats were worse than they could have been with better players around him (I'm talking about efficiency here, and I also think he would have had better +/- stats, and even I repeat that and you don't care, Rose Net+/- was fine last season).

Now we're getting somewhere. Because I agree that Rose didn't look worse on the court with those two. Obviously, since they are the two best players after him. That was never my point. My point was in fact really, really simple: It's that Derrick Rose had so little offense next to him, DESPITE the awesomeness of Noah and Deng, that his impact was not as visual as it could have been. Thus, creating silly threads like this that try to diminish his worth to the Bulls.

Rose is better than Nash and Rondo. Take a look at their head to head matchups, and read the recaps of what Nash has said about Rose himself. Not going to argue the Rondo thing. Its been drummed to death already. Rondo's not clearly better than Rose in any facet except distributing to HOFers.
