Re: Kobe, CP3, Durant Evans, Harden in Manila
Just got back from the game as well......my thoughts:
- I had to wait in the line for like 4-5 hours doing absolutely NOTHING, but it was worth it!
- McGee looked like Prime Shaq, dunking every **** out there and swatting anything close to the rim.
- Kobe was Kobe. Obviously he took it lil easy. We were chanting "KOBE! KOBE!" for like the whole 4th quarter though he still snubbed us and didnt play anymore.
- Harden was money.
- Tyreke had his moments. Plenty of nasty anklebreakers/crossovers.
- Derrick Williams is nice. I can definitely see his potential. He'll be a good player in the future!
- CP3 was kinda average/decent. I agree with the others, he definitely looked wider.
- DRose got a lot of love. I saw a lot of DRose gear in the crowd and on the way home too. Had a sick oop from Kobe!
- DFish was meh
- KD was good
Overall, a great experience for me. Definitely one of my most unforgettable bball moments!

Re: Kobe, CP3, Durant Evans, Harden in Manila
Just got home. As mentioned already, queue was tough: had to wait 2-3 hours (Burger and Coke while waiting) and yes... It was worth it.
Slow start for the NBAers but eventually, height/athleticism decided that it is indeed might as the Smart All Stars pulverized the hobbits from the Philippine Basketball Association. View from Gen Ad was of course amazing, estimate is roughly 19,000-20,000 fans. All screaming for each and every highlight from the NBA players.
Difficult to say who was conditioned and such because it had a very "All Star Game" feel-- no defense from both ends and well, the obvious fact that we were star-strucked starting from pre-game.
Fact: Half the PBA team went over to the other side to have their jerseys, ball and other stuff signed. 2 to 3 Filipino players also brought their hand-held camera during the call out and by the time the warm-up began, they were asking their "idols" for a picture with them.
As for the game itself, McGee has just turned himself into a fan favorite. Kobe and DRose were the most popular but McGee, who was all out on both ends of the floor, showed some sick dunks that is sure to get the attention of the average NBA fan here.
"Fear the Beard" posters in few corners of the stadium (we do know our NBA basketball, mainly because of OKC's good run last season)
CP3, after a couple of early turnovers, toyed with the opposing guards. And i mean, TOYING with them.
Rose was playing out of position all night (moved to SG-SF) and it showed in the production.
All in all, thank you NBA lockout, we don't see this many dunks in a game-- after this, we can live with no highlights for the next five years.

Kobe Bryant Aging like Fine Wine.
Looks like that procedure is doing wonders for his knee.

Well they did say on the guide that no SLR's or food/beverages are allowed but we weren't caught yesterday since they were afraid of a potential stampede had they held up the line even longer just to inspect for cameras/food. The security guard couldnt keep up with the people so they weren't able to check most of the people's bags anymore. Like 3/4 of the arena last night were flashing cams in the intros.
As for the autograph? Good luck with that. The security is so tight man. Only the PBA players and maybe a small amount of lucky people had a chance to get some autos. I was disappointed I couldn't get one since I was at the parking lot where players arrived.
I wish I could go right now, next game's about to start in like 2 hours from now.

thanks, it seemed like Tyreke and Harden were playing the whole time in those videos.
Tyreke had some nice moves but couldn't finish on some of them
