Well, I watched him play 3 years in NYC, and I know he's a very good defender and can shoot the ball a bit. The guy is better than his stats. There is more to the game than stats. Toney can become a good player in this league. My prediction is Toney is going to play well enough to steal some time from lin. They're are probably going to get equal playing time by the All Star break.

I have to agree with this, Douglas isn't as bad as you're making it out to be.

The issue is Douglas is a SG and not a PG, and whenever you have him out there with Harden at the same the rockets just look lost on offense.

Douglas is just awful. I don't get how they don't get an upgrade at backup PG. Heck, Antonio Daniels would be a better option, IMHO.

You're right, you know. It really isn't TD's fault that he's called on to do so much by the most incompetent coach in the NBA. Douglas, to his credit, was never a dick about being benched during his time with the Knicks.
