That was a good shot.

The EV on that particular shot was probably 120+ ppp. They weren't ahead or anything.

They were tied... just hold it and take the last shot... worst case you go to OT

There is no way you are getting a better look than that from a guy who is shooting 42.5% on catch and shoot 3 pointers this year who was wide open. Perhaps if the Knicks were a better team than the Rockets you hold and get to overtime but I think it's fine to shoot that shot there.

I don't care if you are the worst team of all time against the best team of all time... just hold the ball for the last shot with 22 seconds left. Its not about getting to OT its about giving you the best shot to win the game and thats taking the last shot in this instance

Thank you Earl! You da man. Your teammates play hard all night and have a chance for a tremendous back to back victory and you snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by channeling your inner John Starks. Way to be a hero. A bigger thank you to coach Woodson for leaving that chucker in the game long enough to go 3-13 and do what we all knew he would.

Didn't get to watch the game, but I saw that Shumpert had a great game, at least statistically. If I remember correctly he had a great game right before this. Is he improving big time or is he just on a hot streak?

Getting the best shot to win the game was taking that shot there. I think the Knicks suck balls and would have almost certainly lost the overtime which factors into my thinking. On the second night of a back to back and outscored by 10 in the 4th.

No. Just no.

It's not just about finding the open shot, it's about making sure the other team doesn't get the chance to score. The Knicks got the offensive rebound with 22 seconds left on the clock. That means they can have the final possession and not let the other team even have the opportunity to score. I'll take one FG attempt to my opponent's no attempt over your scenario any day. That's smart basketball.

Besides, 42% is still less than a 50/50 chance from a guy who's struggling to find his shot this year.

And why are you taking it for granted it would have gone to OT?? There's still a chance to make the last shot.

Are you serious? You must be jr smith, I don't care how good of a shooter you are and how wide open you are, that is a bad shot.

He has shot 12-14 from 3 the past 2 games, most likely a hot streak.

I said the same thing watching it. I get that you'd rather have Iguodala shooting than Curry, but like you said, he was near half court.

It reminded me Sheed doubling Manu and leaving Horry in the finals.

Rockets were wide open everywhere in clutch time...... talking about NBA's worst defense.

Knicks is a sad team.

Just another night where the team playing Dallas in a close game gets a crap load more free throws

The NBA has turned into a joke, im getting ready to stop watching

Now i understand Dallas sucks inside and tends to foul, i get that, the problem is Dallas doesn't get the calls they should be getting.

Easy to lose a close game when the opposing team has over 20+ more free throw attempts than you do

You can thank the refs for that win LAC

Good old David Stern has to make sure his money making franchises stay good

Turned out to be perfect timing. Great comeback by Warriors. Even sweeter because of that jackass Hawks fan who is always yelling at the opposing players. He was taunting Curry about his mouthpiece when they were up like 10. Then Warriors go on big run to take a 1 pt lead, and you didn't hear him again the rest of the game lol.

I remember he was yelling at Josh Smith too earlier in the year when the Pistons played there. Their stadium is so empty/quiet you can hear everything he says like its coming through a megaphone. NBA needs to kick those fans out imo

When Iggy made that shot he ran down the court and pointed at that guy and laughing.

lol, I didn't realize thats what he was doing. Awesome.
