Not sure if you're being sarcastic or a jerk. He certainly has a point. In a year where Lebron, Bosh, Wade, Carmelo, Duncan, Dirk, Deng and others were/are FA's, Hayward has gotten quite a lot of attention. I didn't think he was going to get half the attention he's getting.

Has he though?

Nobody has put an offer in front of him beyond a qualifying offer. Nobody has threatened to, or had him in for multiple conversations as far as we are aware of.

There is no bidding or courting war here like there is with Lebron. As far as I can see there is just an agent desperate to drum up his players price. If nobody else signs him, will Jazz even offer him the same money they did to lock him into an extension?

You would have to be pretty stupid to offer Gordan Hayward a contract before seeing what Lebron and Melo do first.

Reports say we have already given him an offer.

He did visit Cleveland, and reports of max deals flew around, then collapsed as being very exaggerated.

But isn't he talking about Realgm posters saying they'd overpay pretty seriously for Hayward?
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.
