Don't you guys think Bosh should be getting some hate? Morey made that move, because Bosh told him that he was coming to the Rockets if LeBron left. Yes, then the Heat offered him a **** load of money, which made him change his mind, but he did commit, which is why Morey dumped Lin and the 1st rounder for cap space.

Morey also promised Asik he would be a starting center for the duration of his contract to get him to sign with Houston.

Karma, it does exist.

so, Lin and Asik had to go because they were overpaid at $15M for one year, but they're going to overpay Parsons $15M for three years screwing up their cap space. And they have nobody productive on their bench. Canaan and Motie better step up.

Morey got schooled by Riley, Mitch, and Cuban.

Here's a thought i've had: Trade a top 55 protected 2nd for Josh Smith.

I'm not sure if the Pistons would do it (although they probably should) but it allows Houston not to have to gut the roster whilst acquiring a starting PF.

I don't think they're screwed. They still have the same trio that won them 54 games and they shed the big salaries of two guys who really didn't have major roles. Morey will make some decent contingency moves as well I think.

And Kevin Durant, too. Bosh and Durant are both in the Linsanity documentary movie, making cameos talking to the camera and raving about Linsanity.

No. Parsons already signed an offer sheet with Dallas that has been submitted to the League office (as well as the Rockets). Sign and trades are no longer allowed, nor alterations to the contract terms in any way. It's only match or no match.

Bosh trolled Morey to perfection. Maybe they want to pick up Stoudemire as a conciliation prize??

If anything should be learned by the Spurs making the finals the last couple of years and winning this year, it si that the bench is important, the spurs have the best bench in the league. The Rockets have destroyed their bench, still need an upgrade at PG especially, and last I heard their backup PF/C also wanted a trade. Howard and Harden cannot win enough games on their own, especially in the playoffs.

Exactly, the Rockets had major problems last year with depth and it just got a hell of a lot worse. They tried to fill in their bench last year with minimum guys such as Francisco Garcia and Omri Casspi but, well, you get what you pay for and when the playoffs rolled around they only had 7.5 playable guys: Howard/Parsons/Harden/Asik/Lin/Beverley/Jones and Troy Daniels. Erase Lin and Asik (and Daniels?) and you have Howard/Parsons/Harden/Beverley/Jones and a whole load of nothing.

They had better hope they sign someone decent before they match Parsons or that Motiejunas and Canaan make huge strides because as it stands right now they will have to play some guys in the playoffs who will be exploited over and over again.

the crazy thing is that just earlier today people were talking about Houston being the best team in the West and maybe winning a title next year. Now its totally changed just like that
