Best: Parker - he is gonna get buckets in the league. Might take him a few years to be efficient though, and he needs to work on not having tunnel vision

Sleeper: Mitch McGary - he was a lottery talent since his freshman year. Another great draft pick by OKC

Bust: Vonleh - Very young and has an NBA body, but having great measurables =/= being good at basketball

How is McDermott possibly a sleeper? He's been discussed and hyped up on this board second only to Wiggins.

Liken Ennis to Conley Jr a great deal; Great around the rim, getting to it and a poised conservative distributer. That's the way I'm seeing it anyway. Who knows after all.

You know I was expecting best, and sleeper to be bulls player, and for the bust to be a Bulls rival player given Eduardo's fine posting history

Completely uninformed predictions:

Best rookie: Wiggins. I didn't think so before he got moved to the T-Wolves, now I do, why? Because he has the potential to be the go-to man in Minnesota and Rubio can get him the ball.

Sleeper: Really tricky, but I am going a bit deeper in the draft and say Rodney Hood. I like his prospects at the Jazz and I think fellow Duke-alumnus Dahntay Jones will have a positive mentoring influence on him.

Bust: Tricky one as there are several candidates. It is a toss-up between Gordon, Exum, Stauskas and McDermott for me and I am going to go with Stauskas on the grounds of the previous Fredette history at the Kings. I really don't understand why they selected him, they should have gone for a tandem-big with Boogie and his name is Vonleh.
Vogel is Dutch for Bird.

i dont get why so many people have Gordon as a bust. I really like the kid and think he will be a solid player. is it just cause of his draft position or do people see him not being an NBA starter?

Eduardo wrote:Best: exum. I think he will end up as the best player from this draft. He's got some nice tools.
Sleeper: mirotic or wiggins. Mirotic will surprise a lot of people. He would have gone top 8 in this draft imo. Him andMcDrainit will take the league by surprise. Can't wait for the drain duo. A lot of people are saying wiggins is all athleticism and no skill. I think he will find his game and become a star. He is already an elite man defender.
Bust: I think Gordon will be a typical tweener bust

Best: Wiggins. I really like his jumpshot, I think once he fine tunes it and it becomes more accurate he's gonna be able to jack it up and get whatever shot he wants. I think its going to be close between him and Jabari, it's rare to ever see someone as young as Jabari have such great footwork.
Sleeper: Payton. Dude reminds me of Rondo but with some added size. Dude is a great defender and playmaker, can be a serious difference maker in the league.
I disagree with you on Gordon, I don't think he will be a star, but I think he can be a solid player due to his hustle and athleticism, can be a Gerald Wallace type player
Bust: Im gonna go with Exum. Hope I'm wrong because I like the kid and I like his game, he just seems the most raw to me, a lot of what he does doesn't seem to come as effortless as it does to some of the other top dogs in the draft.

interesting? you defend Gordon (who still doesnt know what his true position will be) but have Payton as a bust when he has already shown to be a very good passer and defender playing PG.

What has payton shown? he has played 0 NBA games. His passing really isnt all that good. He lacks play making ability, shooting ability. I just dont see him ever being a quality starter and getting bounced around a ton.

Gordon might not have a position, but he is explosive and the league has made a transition towards positionless basketball anyhow. im not saying the dude will be an MVP, but i cant see him being a terrible player

Best: Jabari - I'm not expecting him to destroy the planet as a rookie but leading Milwaukee to 30 wins will be a feat and I think its possible.

Sleeper: Jordan Adams - Was a top 10 talent that went to the perfect team. That weight he loss before the combine shows he's determined to get it and with his James Harden like scoring ability he could be very good.

Bust - Aaron Gordon. He's trash in every way offensively. Jared Jeffries with no resemblance of a jumper, less length, and a 40 inch vert.
