Funny you wanna go along with James Harden... the ONE guy OKC actually needs to get into the Finals.

Durant has had plenty of massive playoff games. I remember reading his numbers in close out/elimination games after the Clips series last year and they were phenomenal.

Well dang it my broad generalizations just aren't cutting it in this thread.

As a GSW fan, I don't take OKC lightly but we did just beat them 3 out of 4 times. The first game OKC was severely depleted, the last game GSW rested Bogut and Iguodala, but the middle 2 were handily won by GSW.

I feel the same about GSW, but to be fair, another of those games came w/ KD scoring 30 in the first half and getting hurt.

first they have to be in the play offs. everybody is talking like it is certain that they will catch phoenix or anyone else. the west is so hard to predict.
suns play them twice at home and they have beaten them last year twice if i recall right. so nothing is certain. suns still can drop to 9th, 10th or lower.

Warriors were ahead at the half in that game. KD can drop 60 on us and I'm fine with that if we still win. :-D

We also beat San Antonio all four times in the regular season last year and we saw what happened in the playoffs.

Well if we do bounce OKC out in the first round we would be doing you guys a favor by getting Brooks fired.

If the Warriors lose to OKC in the first round, whilst it would suck given the dominance they've shown, this OKC is nowhere near your average 8th seed.

If they were healthy from the start of the season, would OKC be any lower than the 3rd seed?

It's going to be a tough match up for the Warriors, but if they lose, i don't think there is any shame in that.

True but a comeback is more likely with KD.

I think OKC is right there. Home court in that series is huge. It's hard to picture either team winning on the road if both teams are healthy.

Someone who's won it all for starters. Tyson is a behemoth. Westbrook is a little dude. Just a really weird comparison, unless Westbrook was playing in a midget league.

I always laugh at how people still perpetuate the notion that GSW doesn't have a style of play that will translate well in the playoffs. Elite in points in the paint, #1 defensive efficiency by far in the league, #3 offense that happens to shoot the most efficiently by essentially every metric... Ya'll even watch the games or do you just soak up Charles Barkley's terrible commentary?

People just cannot fathom what they see when they catch a Warriors game. Its like catching a glimpse of a unicorn. They automatically assume that wasn't it real. But it real, baby. Its very real.
