76ers HC Sees Ben Simmons as a Legit PG

He's been heavily overrated here.. Slow feet, average first step and has great vision, but poor pass placement.. Throws a TON of sloppy passes that will be picked off in the regular season. He's also fairly timid when pressured at the hoop. He reminds me less of Odom and more of what Boris Diaw was supposed to turn into.. Maybe Phoenix Suns era Boris. He's not a pg by any stretch.

Slow feet, based on what? At Simmons' Cleveland workout, that Chad Ford himself attended, he reported a 3.05 sec 3/4 sprint and 10.61 sec lane agility. Both are elite by any standards, let alone for a big man.

I don't agree about his passing, but it's all conjecture at this point, anyways. I haven't seen anything in SL to support it though, seems to be quite on point with his deliveries.

Exactly his offense is great mainly because he's big, can finish, has good handles, is one of the best passing bigs ever, and he has blinding speed. Not too late to jump on the bandwagon guys. Simmons is the truth.

I think this lineup is going to be the best for Simmons to truly utilize his gifts. You gotta surround him with guys that can space the floor. If you can accomplish that, then the sixers should be playing beautiful basketball for the next 10+ years.

They really need to find his two other co-stars(legit scoring threats) if they want to keep him.

well there's Embiid and Jahlil. they'll be scoring a ton. but what the team needs most is for one of their wing prospects to deliver as a sharpshooter on the perimeter. or acquire the same.
