Good to see Zion's dunking is nice and high.
I remember his dunk rating was only 80-something in NBA2k20.

They have a complicated formula that weights certain skills more for certain positions; for example interior defense matters a lot for Centers but almost not at all for PGs.

It should be around 80, he really isnt much of the dunker.

He really doesnt dunk all that often at all in the NBA, he is like much quicker and more explosive Z Bo. 97 dunk is clearly a legacy pick for his HS and Duke days. He just doesnt dunk that often in the NBA anymore, Giannis should have much higher dunk rating IMO.

Zion was top 10(seventh) in dunks this year as a 6'6 guy dealing with a crowded lane every night.

Giannis does dunk it more than Zion in the game and in real life. He's OP.

What about Edwards? Looked like the best in game dunker last season.

Got to admit, I find this stat surprising. Zion had few good bangers, I mean kid is a monster, but his above the rim game has a disappointment, isnt it? He barely ever blocks anyone, even tho in college he was SWAT.

I think it's because he's so strong he sometimes doesn't try to dunk or get in the right position to dunk. He just bullies his way to a contested layup, which isn't all that contested because Zion just brushes off the defender.

As for the blocks and other mid-air stuff, I think it's pretty clear that Zion needs to drop a few lbs. For the sake of his game and his body.
