I don't know that either guy has the full body of work to qualify, but this type of discussion always reminds me of this play:

TL;DW Chris Mills recovers a jump ball under his/our basket. Tries to lay it into his own basket. Samaki Walker slides over to block the shot, and fouls him in the process.

Two obvious choices I haven’t seen posted yet.

Dennis Smith Jr. He probably has the lowest BBall IQ among any PG in the league. Clueless on every level

Kevin Knox, king of the one dribble, contested 22 footer with 15 seconds on the shot clock.

Masai is overrated.

Has a more talented player ever bounced around like him and achieved so little compared to his potential?

The dude was/is extremely talented.

Routinely worked LeBron one on one.

I know people love weed, but I have to think it was a factor in his development mentally.

Buut...I'll give JR a 50% pass on this one because the play happened 100% as a result of this hustle. He had no business getting that rebound over KD.

Had it happen out of 24 sec possesion sure, you can crucify the guy. But he got an offensive rebound over a guy 5 inches taller than him, out of a miss FT. In hindsight, he should've just let it go and not became an instant meme and a poster child for a low IQ play for eternity.

Literally everybody blamed JR after that play acting as if he would've pass it out immediately the outlook would've been different.
False, there were 4 seconds left on the clock, the odds were still astronomically low they would've gotten anything else as a result.

George Hill will always be my main culprit, this was HIS fault. He shouldn't have missed that FT, that was an epic choke job.
He got bailed big time by JR's dumb play that followed his miss, literally nobody talked about it afterwards.

I understand your point but on this play LBJ was open on the 3 point line.....LBJ had already 2 playoffs game winner in the 2018 playoffs and he had 49 points at this time of the game....The odds would have been at least possible if Smith would have pass to James on this play

True it would have been better for Smith to not have taken this offensive rebounds!

Anyone saying Draymond needs to get their account banned.

Dude’s one of the highest IQ players in nba history.

Draymond is the most intelligent pick and roll defender in the league. Anyone calling him low IQ is a fool.

He’d be a max player if he wasn’t so dumb and understood what his role should be. But no. He thinks he’s a point center.

There is no combination of circumstances that would make Andre Drummond a max player.

He didn't need to pass it out, he literally had a soft layup opportunity immediately following his rebound. Pretty decent odds he makes it or gets fouled
