Miami changed its arena name to FTX, another crypto related company. All the speculators spending money like it's the .com era. I hate naming rights on stadiums/arenas. They always sound lame.

As much as I dislike the Lakers as a Celtics fan, the Los Angeles Lakers truly deserve much better than to be dumped on like this. The NBA is just an extremely greedy business -- greedy owners, greedy execs, and greedy players -- and frankly I no longer even encourage young people to watch it. These teams including the Celtics would put anything on the jerseys to make a buck. At a certain point, fans should unite and say enough of these trash names if you want to name your businesses after American cities. Los Angeles, Boston and all of the other NBA cities shouldn't be forced to put up with this crap. If the league want to move all of the teams to Canada/Mexico/Europe, let them all leave.

While driving cross country I got stopped in an Oklahoma freeway due to a thunderstorm and rain that I can only describe as Niagara Falls. That was a frightening experience. So when the name Thunder came up I wasn’t laughing. I thought it was a really good name for a sports team
