100% not the Lakers. He'd go back to Serbia before going to LA, which is why I love him.

Probably San Antonio or Chicago or Dallas.

But I'd bet my house on him re-signing with Denver.

Doesn’t matter who is coming off the books if Bulls still don’t have the max (45M’ish) to sign Jokic.

And BTW, losing Vucevic, dumping players (DD, others) to make cap space room for any free agent, makes Chicago less less attractive destination.

:dontknow: It's probably pure fantasy anyway, I'm 99% certain Denver whips out the checkbook for a 5 year omegamax or whatever it's called.

I hope he spends his career in Denver, but if not, I’d love to see him on the Knicks. Serbian basketball fans might be as insane and obnoxious as Knicks fans; the **** energy here would simply be too much to contain.

Denver.

But if he leaves I hope its Toronto
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Lame.

Why click on a thread about a hypothetical, laid out in OP about a hypothetical— and provide no substance.

This is a hypothetical thread. But not sure why ignoring cap rules to make a hypothetical thread even more unreal is worth while.

Well, the Bulls have what, 72.5 million in committed salary for 2024? Figure 35 more for Zach and you're at 107.5. It depends how much the cap goes up in the next couple years whether they would hypothetically have room. I'm not very good at predicting the future though.

With LaVine on max, Bulls will have less than 20M in cap space. That is letting White walk, not re-signing Vucevic (and letting him walk), nor retaining any 2022 expiring deals, and renouncing every cap hold 2023. If Bulls can dump DD for pure cap space, they can probably get to number Jokic will need — but most likely need to dump Caruso too.

He said he wanta to be to Denver what Duncan was to Spurs, but if he does leave, I hope to see him contending in some team luke MIL, TOR, where they dont have superteams like LA or BKN.. It would be crazy watching him and Giannis and they are good friends I would say

How is Chicago not listed???

Bulls president used to be Denver's and he is the one who drafted him. I am pretty confident that his plan was to make Bulls good again (by the complete roster overhaul) and with Bulls making noise and the perfect timing with Vuc's and Demar's contracts are above to be over so the money will be spent on Jokic at the time.

AK is a genius and has a vision. Jokic is in his plans and he may already have talked to him about it. Jokic in a big market like Chicago and it would be not only great for him but great for NBA.

It's a shame that Jrue and Middleton tie up their cap space so long, he would be a perfect fit with Giannis.

Teaming up with Giannis in MIL or Luka at DAL is the best imo. Both not huge markets and both with a star that would fit perfectly with each other.

If Derozan was signed for one less year they would have been included in the poll. Their GM done messed up.

It's quite simple:
a)If they resign Lavine they won't have capspace.

b) If they don't resign Lavine they wouldn't have enough talent to attract Jokic

Duncan said that, but he still took meetings in Orlando as a free agent. Things change man. That said, how is having both he and Giannis on the same team not a super team? Lol..

I don’t see the point of leaving if he’s not going to maximize his earned both on AND off the court. Might as well stay in Denver then and get super paid. It’s not like Denver is a bad team or city.

Denver would be set back a decade if he leaves. Damn shame..

He's maximize his money in Denver but if MPJ doesn't recover after a third back surgery, that contract will screw the team.

Kronke has all kinds of money but if he's not going to pay the luxury tax, they might have to shed contracts like Barton.

Are Jokic and Murray enough to compete?

But again, will Jokic prioritize money or winning?
