Best rookie battle of the year happened tonight in Cleveland. Mobley vs. Barnes.

What a battle.

Superstars in the making.

Mobley’s time to shine with Allen out indefinitely.

Jalen green man, was I wrong on him. He’s been killing it for almost two months now

Time to put some respect on Jalen Greens name.

Jalen Green since start of February:

Games: 14
MPG: 33.5
PPG: 18.1
RPG: 3.1 (needs to get better here)
APG: 3.1
TOPG: 1.6
FG%: 46.7
3PT%: 36.7
2PT%: 56.4
FT%: 69.6
FTR: 23.1 (should get better as he adds strength)
TS%: 57.9

Not shocked at all at how well Jalen Green is playing. Lots of very good wings struggled their entire rookie seasons, so he's ahead of schedule and trending upwards as the season has gone on.

I expect Mobley’s stats to look a lot better for the remainder of the season due to Allen’s injury. As long as he’s able to stay healthy, we could see some more monster games from him.

Already said there isn't all that much difference between Jalen Green and Edwards rookie season if Green continues to progress until the end of the season.

I think he still got a chance to finish 1st team all rookie because Giddey is now out, too. If he puts up 18/3/3 until the end of the year and pushes his BPM down to -2/-2.5, he will have a case. He's coming on strong.

Something that stands out to me and is surprising is how good Jalen Green already is at getting to the line despite being extremely skinny and weak. Once he bulks up he's going to get to the line a ton. Gets there more than Ant despite a huge difference in build

I think his ceiling is just as high if not higher. Because he is explosive, quick and fast. If he gets stronger he is scoring a lot of points. His game is also quiet smooth. His passing abilities are okay. Can get better but not inept. Defense needs a lot of work. He is progressing a lot faster right now than I expected which is impressive after he had a really rough start. 58% TS since February is good.

Depends ... if he's been getting physically worn down, playing more C won't help that. And while it's an obvious chance for Bickerstaff to provide more floor spacing which could certainly benefit Evan with lobs, put-backs, cutting lanes, etc - JBB may not take advantage of it.

Also keep an eye on Evan's minutes. When he's not in foul trouble, JBB will be tempted to play him as much as possible. He's only played 40 minutes or more twice this season ... it wouldn't surprise me if he starts averaging that unless someone in the organization makes it clear that he can't be asked to do that.

He’s already been in the weight room. Couple of times test he grabbed the offensive rebound and finished strong in traffic and flexed after

literally all of those players won ROY, except for magic johnson... who lost ROY to larry bird (and he was actually drafted the year before magic).

And Cade, Magic & Luka are the only three to do so at 20 or younger.

How was he able to do a step back and then continue to dribble? Eh...it's the NBA...I shouldn't be surprised.

Cunningham with a MONSTER game against Atlanta.

28 points. 10 assists. 6 rebounds.

15 of his 28 points came in the 4th quarter and OT.

His 6th game with at least 25-5-5. All other rookies combined have three such games.

Cade

43 minutes
10-25 FG
28 points
6 rebounds
10 assists
+11

Looks like he is ahead of Grant in the pecking order now.
