That's it. Well said.

That's why you & me are awesome.

Men of high class, sir. I figured you would be a fellow suit wearer

Lets not bring the shirts into the pants discussion. Mean need room to move down there! Shirts are a whole other topic!

Well let’s not forget that skinny jeans are at least worn above the dick. How many times have we got a flash a of guy fully in his underwear because of giant saggy jeans?

Well that's a different thing. That's a dude wearing pants that don't fit. jenco's were designed to fit your waist. I've seen low rise jeans fall off dudes and they were neither sagging nor baggy...again just didn't know how to buy pants that fit!

Sagging and JNCO/Pipes were definitely part of the trend in 1998. How wide, and whether you sagged or not were generally an individual style choice. But those late 90s were kind of the initial boom of sagging in everyday society, further supporting the idea that 1998 was the worst for fashion.

By then I knew a lot of guys just wearing full basketball shorts under their jeans, so they were ready to flip over to a pickup game. So that solved that problem.

Only for those wearing basketball shorts. Just because there was a solution doesn’t mean everybody followed that solution. My point is you see junk with less layers when sagging than skinny jeans show, while just looking idiotic with massive jeans that soaked up puddles. But maybe I’m just better at not staring at the junk of men in skinny jeans than you ;)

They were still wearing boxers, still not balls and skin tight jeans on a guy butt. Sorry, skinny jeans are still disgusting. And long haired dudes from a distance look like women!

Boxer briefs are common and revealing.

There's some wild/trolly outfits but overall I'm fairly confident this era of basketball players is the most "fashionable". Players have stylists, have access to a lot more "fashion advice", more wealth to purchase top of the line apparel, etc.

The first I rememebr going out of line was LeBron with his white suit.

LeBron was just following NBA draft tradition with his suit. It wasn't out of the ordinary for him to wear an oversized white suit in 2004. Players have been wearing suits like that since at least the early 1990's.

Modern players have their suits tailored to fit their bodies, which is probably the most important thing with any suit.

That was post 1998 that those got big man! In the late 90's and early 00's we were wearing boxers that were bigger than what some of these kids wear as shorts today!
