“The crew missed the call” isn’t a good enough response.

-why was the call missed?
- were they out of position?
-was their focus somewhere else and if so why?
- what could’ve been done to get it right?

Some questions and answers with accountability are required if these refs

His whistle hasn't been the same since. Don't think they'd ever do anything to actively saboage his career, but they're not gonna help buoy him with calls the way some guys are now or how MJ was propped up by refs.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It's funny cuz it's only the most corny LeBron haters out trolling tonight while everyone else just looking at the product we got tonight in disbelief

lol dude you might want to go check the NBA’s viewing numbers and other similar metrics after LeBron joined the Heat.

His move was a massive positive for the league in terms of viewers, popularity etc.

Some fans certainly were pissed off, but the NBA’s bottom line wasn’t.

I apologize.

But I’d like to point out, that the refs in general have been the worst they have EVER been this season.

All teams have been on the bad end of a ref-stick this season… that’s an atrocious call, 100% agree.

I think this one in particular is in context of a string of L2M reports going against the Lakers in very close losses. This is the fourth high profile one, and they're 4 games under .500. They win two of those and they're .500. It's also in context of LeBron not getting officiated correctly for a decade now.

All reffing gets bad and teams get robbed. It's just especially front of mind for the Lakers and the fanbase right now.

What do you mean? LeBron said Boston fans are “racist as f***”! :banghead:

Duh!

This has nothing to do with the topic. And if you really wanted to talk about it, multiple athletes have called Boston racist not just Lebron including Adam Jones, KG, Marcus Smart and Boston great Bill Russell.

The nba has lost all of its integrity in the past 3 years lol . There was ref standing look at leborn and tatum …. So there is no reason why they missed it . Other than cheating.

Yeah those poor Lakers

i don’t get your point? you think i want to watch more rigged games because games were rigged before? do you think the most infamous game in nba history is some gotcha? do you really think i’ve never watched how that game was rigged? man you’re lost kid

The point is the Lakers have been on the end of some favourable reffing over the journey in big games.

Spare me the poor Lakers it’s all rigged against them BS.

Absolute garbage.

Maybe the Lakers should focus more on building a team that fits around LeBron, instead of the team of bums he plays with right now.

the lakers won the game and the refs gave it to the celtics. that’s not debatable. makes for a terrible sport.

You might as well have one too. You talk about him just as much, if not more than me. Throw it up there my dude

How can one not when people like you bring him up on dialy basis and 1/3rd of the front page threads are about him even though there is dedicated board for him.

Even though it’s absolutely untrue that you only respond to people speaking about him rather than initiate as well, why respond in the first place?

Of course it does….the topic of things LeBron has said in the past, he’s playing Boston, I’m a fan, etc.

Not sure if you comprehended the point of my post mate. Go ahead and re-read that then reply with something more salient lil bro.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

It was a missed call. Players make mistakes and so do refs. Sucks when it happens but it’s part of the game.

Lakers have benefited plenty of times from bad calls going in their favour over the years. It all evens out.

Dislike the Lakers more than any team in the league, but even I'll admit that was egregious. Refs need to pay closer attention. I doubt it was outright bias, just that LeBron is so strong that in real time it didn't look like a lot of contact, even though it was.

However, I don't recall such outrage when the Clippers got screwed against OKC in 2014 or the Celtics got screwed in game 7 of the 2010 finals. Even though those were more consequential games, nobody even talked about it.
