I feel like many are way too harsh/critical on Alex Sarr.
Playing in maybe the worst/most dysfunctional team/organisation in the league doesn't help either but give him time

I think he's probably trying to get reps in to his squad to hit the ground running. Pistons are trying to win this year.

Even if Lakers aren't better, their offense is several times better to watch. This team is watchable again.

He is just not NBA ready yet. I get the romance of him playing alongside his dad, but really he should play pretty much all of next season in the G-League.

He is going to have his self-confidence and esteem destroyed by the media and fans if they give him minutes in the regular season when he is not ready.

I am almost certain it's not JJ's call to play him either (I suspect Jeanie and Pelinka are ordering JJ to play him)

Yeah his offense is too raw, this is where he needs to develop by far the most.

On defense he will develop well in NBA, not sure if he can develop his offense but it's a problem.
