If Lakers finish in the top 3 in the west and Luka continues to play that way, there is no way he isn't getting the MVP this time.
If he doesn't then he is simply never going to get it, that's as simple as that.

Barring injuries, they'll probably finish 2nd. Above the Nuggets.

That Joe Dumars. What a guy. Just an epic fail all the way around.

I know it’s completely lost on a hopeless Pelicans team, but Saddiq Bey re-establishing himself as a solid player is a good story.

He got so muscular that he turned himself into a stretch big, of sorts. Pretty good rebounder. Doesn’t turn it over, doesn’t pass much. Was always better guarding slower guys anyway, because he had little footspeed. Glad to see it.

Missing both as the crowd chanted MVP was crazy work.

Coaches and teams have figured Kenny and his gameplan out.

Mobley and Allan doesn't seem to work as well as it once did. (I realise JA is out again for a while)

And honestly aside from The Celtics and Pacers, the other East playoff contenders have improved quite a lot.

Wouldn't say their championship window is closed but its become a lot harder

To be fair Queen will be a very good player so its not as bad as the Luka or SGA/Paul George or that infamous Celtics/Nets deal.

Not with that defense he won't. He can't defend the rim nor 4's. A big who can't defend at all means what in the long term? Build a team around these deficiencies? Why? This feels like Greg Monroe all over again.

Memphis finally going to Edey in the post. What took so long?

Yeah. The defense thing is an issue with Queen. But he’s not Greg Monroe. That dude couldn’t pass.

Anyone heard rumours that Bill Simmons suggested last weeks about The Pelicans being potentially seen around the league as relocating to Vegas ?
Bill Simmons seems have his finger on the pulse from many NBA insiders, maybe appointing Dumars is a way to justify the Pels moving.

Some team and GM needs to rescue Tre Murphy. Would love him on The Celtics

Why is the NBA having a team in Vegas? Isn't there gambling problem? Seems like the worst thing you can do!

OKC will win 70 plus games. Impossible not to give it to SGA again in that scenerio
