That one's gotta hurt for Hayward. He completely dominated the clippers through the first 3, but just had nothing in that 4th.

It's such a shame that we are witnessing a Jazz team without Gobert and a one legged Favors.

If this team ever gets healthy, they are a genuine threat to anybody.

Yea, team must just be ecstatic at having one or both of their stars injured each of the last three seasons because at least they have an excuse now!

i think it just delays what they really need to be doing, which is breaking up that core or starting over

I see what you mean. They should certainly consider making some tweaks, but when other teams are crying about getting a first or when they have a first, a second star the Clippers should not be nonchalant about breaking it up. The team needs a different kind in the front office to examine what the best options will be and go from there.

Well, Griffin's injury and Gobert possibly returning will change the scheme of things.

I still think if Redick didn't disappear in the playoffs the Clippers without Griffin would be the better team here. They have the best player in series+DJ+Redick a top 10 ish SG who buries teams. Just sucks that role players fail so hard in the playoffs for us.

Agreed. That's what is stopping us from being a serious contender.

Yeah, Hayward not being LeBron is killing us.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

Kobe's last game was against Utah and now Blake's last game will be against Utah. Must be a new LA thing.

CP3 is so ridiculously good. I want him to win a championship just so folks can't use that excuse anymore. Dude is unbelievable.

Just saw news about Blake. Dang. He knew he was hurt bad, just like CP3 w/ his thumb.

I wonder if Gobert will be back for the next game?

Or Hayward being a little bit more like Joe Johnson in closing out games. Gordon's a star but he needs to take it up another level late in games.

If Rudy comes back and we win the next game I think we can win this series. Shame that Hayward has his best game as a pro and we can't close it out. Hate all the talk of him not getting it done in the clutch, he carried the team through three quarters, maybe if we had even a little interior defense we would have won. I'm not placing this on him, he's the reason we had a chance.

Hayward and Hill were the only ones to show up for the Jazz. Nobody else could get anything done. As for Hayward's 4th quarter, it's hard to score when the other team is allowed to bear hug you and grab and hold every time down the floor. There were multiple occasions in the 4th were Chris or Luc had their arms wrapped all the way around Gordon. Somehow the refs "missed" it.

It was basically 5 vs 8 in the second half. That being said, I'm a firm believer that the refs will never cost you a game. Jazz missed too many free throws, and without Gobert they will continue to miss rebounds and give up plenty of open looks in the paint.

I stand by my Jazz can't win without Gobert (they'd be equally screwed without Hayward). If he's not back by G4, this series could be over.

Lets see how our shooting guards play on Sunday. With Blake gone the spacing should be better. They have to knock down shots though. Not surprised by Blake at all. Him being out for the playoffs is damn near the standard now. Time to move on without him. We play better anyways with him out of the line up

The Clippers are like that old Jalopy you try to take on one too many road trips. Something always breaks down.
